After a quarter that has been notably light on turnover following a rash of resignations late last year, another member of the Trump cabinet is reportedly preparing to leave her post.
Linda McMahon, head of the Small Business Administration, is reportedly preparing to announce her resignation as soon as Friday, Politico (https://www.politico.com/story/2019/03/29/linda-mcmahon-to-resign-as-head-of-small-business-administration-1243495) reports. The former wrestling executive and wife of WWE founder Vince McMahon is reportedly leaving to "rejoin the private sector."
Her departure comes as a surprise, mostly because McMahon was widely seen as a contender to eventually replace Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.

Last month, WWE women champion "Ronda Rousey" upset over money paid to other WWE wrestlers (especially women) said "WWE is scripted".

President Donald Trump nominated a replacement Thursday night for Linda McMahon after she stepped down as head of the Small Business Administration (SBA) on Friday.
“I am pleased to announce that Jovita Carranza will be nominated as the new Administrator. She will be replacing Linda McMahon, who has done an outstanding job. Jovita was a great Treasurer of the United States — and I look forward to her joining my Cabinet!”

Working in the SBA will feel familiar to Carranza. She was its deputy administrator from 2006 (https://web.archive.org/web/20150224205020/http://www.nsba.biz/editor/exec/view.cgi/2/1244/printer) to 2009 and will leave her post as U.S. treasurer, where she has oversight over the U.S. mint and is a liaison to the Federal Reserve. As head of the SBA, Carranza’s mission will be to support small businesses and entrepreneurs.
