We should put an ad in National Review and the Weekly Standard.

Remember, after these 3 magazines we have no time to start anymore before the registration deadlines of most states. So if you are considering starting another magazine ad drive, make sure it is in a magazine where people are already registered Republican, or make sure it is in a state with open primaries.

You were going to stop buying those magazines, BUT THEN YOU GOT HIGH.
You were going to throw them all away, BUT THEN YOU GOT HIGH.
Your parents are so mad, AND I KNOW WHY.
BECAUSE YOU GOT HIGH, BECAUSE YOU GOT HIGH, BECAUSE YOU GOT HIGH.

Inform them that when you are older and a parent yourself, you would rather you kids smoke MJ than drink alcohol. It's much, much safer.

# of people who die in the US per year of alcohol poisoning: a lot
# of people who die in the US per year from MJ poisoning: 0 (it's not possible)

The drug war with respect to MJ makes no sense =) It's the most un-dangerous mind altering substance I know of!

If we buy them all no one else will see them. :( If you want to buy them, wait until the last day they are displayed and if there are any left then buy them. :)

It's real important that new people get exposed to Ron Paul. That's what all the money was raised for.

theres been such an intense propaganda war against marijuana that people refuse to listen to logic and the facts when making a judgement about it. it makes people who smoke weed become their own subculture simply because of the bias against its use. then there becomes a bias against the subculture that was only created due to the original bias. its very circular logic if you ask me, and a very hard mind set to get people out of.

Isn't going to be great when the mainstream media (who is watching this forum) runs this on the news? /sarcasm

Yes,

That or make sure the ads are targeted towards likely republican voters in closed primary states.

Also, can someone post a PDF to each add?

Also, we need to start keeping a list of forum members to whom it is safe to donate money. With all this money we are raising, I wouldn't be surprised to see a scam or two pop up. Obviously Krot5333 is trustworthy, but we should definitely start keeping a record of who has taken donations and followed through with evidence of what they promised.

This just in! Breaking news on the Ron Paul campaign! Ron Paul's supporters have spent $10K of their own money to advertise in magazines! How terrible of them to advertise their candidate's views for everyone to see. What do they think this is? A free country? We'll continue to keep you updated on further developments.

Literatim was being sarcastic, he was referring to the people who were complaining the whole way through about any 'controversial' voting groups being targeted.
