Those who violate the law to illegally enter the United States should be given special treatment at the expense of the American taxpayer.
That’s the twisted logic of Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-WA, who argued on Friday that Americans owe “reparations” to illegal aliens.
During an interview on MSNBC with host Joy Reid, Jayapal discussed Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee last week as well as the issue of family separation among illegal aliens detained in the U.S.
“I’m proud of my passion, Mr. Whitaker. We all should show real passion and a real commitment to fixing what was done to these families and these children. This is lasting trauma for thousands of children—we must make reparations,” Jayapal wrote in a tweet, which included a clip of the MSNBC interview.

Jayapal argued that detaining illegal aliens is “a heinous crime that has been committed on thousands of children.”
The Democratic lawmaker went to slam Whitaker for what she called a “dismissive” attitude during the hearing, referring to her line of questioning with him.
“This is an issue that I know there is a lot of passion about,” Whitaker said during the hearing in response to Jayapal’s aggressive line of question. “I appreciate your passion, it’s something we share together.”
“If we all don’t have real passion, real commitment to figuring out what happened and making reparations, the U.S. government should make reparations for what we have done to these families,” Jayapal said.

Illegal aliens owe reparations to American Tax Payers;

We need reparations for all the rapes, murders, drug dealing, welfare sucking, health
care bankrupting, disease spreading.
Our children have greatly suffered, the healing will never be complete.

Different cultures sometimes take a long time to adapt to American culture. They have different values and different moral norms. Asians are prone to communist/socialist schemes. We should not forget that both China and India have been communist. They also have trouble with the American concept of diversity.

But one thing that many different cultures can adapt to and take on immediately is the victimhood culture of the left. The left is banking on that.

H ha, Excellent , well that's one more tool they have that I never really thought about;
'The Victim Card' ....and they play it well.
They can always chock up a few million votes 'off' the Victim meme.

Indo-Russian relations refer to the bilateral relations between India and Russia. During the Cold War, India and the Soviet Union (USSR) had a strong strategic, military, economic and diplomatic relationship. After the collapse of the USSR, Russia inherited the close relationship with India. This resulted in India and Russia sharing a Special Relationship.

Traditionally, the Indo-Russian strategic partnership has been built on five major components: politics, defence, civil nuclear energy, anti-terrorism co-operation and space.[1] These five major components were highlighted in a speech given by former Indian Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai in Russia.[1] However, in recent years a sixth component, economic, has grown in importance with both countries setting a target of reaching US$30 billion in bilateral trade by 2025, [2][3] from about US$ 9.4 billion in the year 2017[4] . In order to facilitate this target both countries are looking to develop a free trade agreement.[5][6][7] Bilateral trade between both countries in 2012 grew by over 24%.[7]

The powerful IRIGC (India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission) is the main body that conducts affairs at the governmental level between both countries.[8] Both countries are members of many international bodies where they jointly collaborate closely on matters of shared national interest. Important examples include the UN, BRICS, G20 and SCO.[9] Russia has stated publicly that it supports India receiving a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council.[10] In addition, Russia has expressed interest in joining SAARC with observer status in which India is a founding member.[11][12]

India is the second largest market for the Russian defence industry. In 2017, approximately 68% of the Indian Military's hardware import came from Russia, making Russia the chief supplier of defence equipment.

This is conveniently overlooked by the current establishment, but India's always had very close ties to Russia/USSR.

This is from a March 1974 report in the Financial Times of London:

“Wander about any major, or for that matter, minor, town in India these days, and the chances are that you will run into a Soviet expert of some kind or other… Their mission is to ensure the success of the Indo-Soviet economic cooperation agreement signed last November by the Soviet Communist Party Secretary, Mr Leonid Brezhnev, and the Indian Prime Minister, Mrs Indira Gandhi.”
