Mr. Barr was just approved on a voice vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday.
"William Barr serving as Attorney General would pose a grave threat to our constitutional rights.
It’s not just his express support of nationwide gun registration and confiscation schemes.
In the past, he’s supported everything from the use of civil asset theft – which he described as a “valuable tool to law enforcement” – to expanding warrantless wiretapping and Deep State surveillance of American citizens.
After the NSA’s warrantless wiretapping of Americans was first exposed in 2007, it was William Barr who led the telecommunications industry’s lobbying efforts to secure immunity from lawsuits related to their participation in the spying scheme!
That William Barr’s nomination to serve as America’s top law enforcement official is being rushed through the U.S. Senate should be an outrage to Americans. "
