American for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is launching an effort to draft conservative commentator Ann Coulter to challenge President Donald Trump in the Republican Primaries in 2020.
Coulter was one of Trump’s earliest supporters, who has since become one of his most vocal critics on the right.
Her support for Trump comes from her hard-line opposition to illegal immigration, which she believes the President is not doing enough to stop.
ALIPAC has also been critical, and believes that a more dedicated fighter is needed to tackle the issue of illegal immigration.

“I hope Ann Coulter will give serious consideration to running against Trump in the primary and run on a MAGA platform offering conservative voters a pledge to keep her promises … unlike Trump!” William Gheen, president of ALIPAC told the Washington Times (https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/jan/24/group-launches-draft-ann-coulter-president/), who first reported this story.

But, as it turns out it is unlikely Trump will ever face Coulter in a primary election, as she declined the opportunity to run, citing her belief that women shouldn’t be in the workforce.
“It’s an honor to be asked by such a patriotic and important organization. They are obviously correct that would make a tremendous president. But unfortunately, I’m against women working,” she told The Washington Times.

She isn't working now?
She is a loudmouth and now she has proven that that is all she is.

They all say that they're not running before they announce, and then one of them ends up in the WH.

Better than Trump, but not good enough to vote for. She's full of BS, like Donnell.

It's easier being a critic than it is being in the arena.

She has no chance whatsoever in taking on Trump.

I would vote for her over Trump since I believe she actually means what she says. She has been consistent unlike wishy washy Trump always dialing back what he says shortly after he says it and then fails to follow through.

I posted some of her tweets earlier and was thinking, Coulter/Paul 2020 with Rand keeping his Senate seat as VP.

She is no where as raesonable and moderate as Trump, was too radical and too close to ultra conservative wing of GOP base:

GUTLESS PRESIDENT IN WALL-LESS COUNTRY (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?529453-Coulter-Trump-Will-Not-Finish-Current-Term-quot-joke-presidency-who-scammed-the-American-people-quot&p=6722834&viewfull=1#post6722834)

In other words, Trump is doing exactly what I feared he would do in the worst conceivable way. He's not building the wall, while making ridiculous promises right up until the second before he folds.

The Washington Post loves to find the one crazy, trailer park lady who supports Trump because she's had religious ecstasies about him, but most people who voted for him did so with a boatload of qualms.

The basic factory setting on the perception of Trump is: gigantic douchebag. This is a man who manufactured fake Time magazine covers featuring himself with the headline, "Donald Trump: The 'Apprentice' is a television smash!" so that he could put framed copies of it on the walls of his clubs.

His business is convincing people with lowbrow taste to give him their money.

She has also attacked MAGA's top funder and his inlaws:

Ann Coulter attacks Adelson on immigration and banning online gambling (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?449311-Ann-Coulter-attacks-Adelson-on-immigration-and-banning-online-gambling&)

She's a non starter.

It's pretty much confirmed now that she won't be running.

'President Javanka': Ann Coulter Says Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner Run the White House By Harriet Sinclair On 4/11/19

Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter has panned President Donald Trump's White House, suggesting that the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, are the "actual commander in chief," and that "this is not what anyone voted for."
Coulter made the comments in an op-ed for right-wing website Breitbart, citing a new book by investigative reporter Vicky Ward titled Kushner, Inc.: Greed. Ambition. Corruption. The Extraordinary Story of Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, which Coulter described as opening the lid on “our actual commander in chief: President Javanka.”
Summarizing the book, Coulter describes a presidency that has been co-opted by “Javanka” for their own personal gain. “Until Trump’s nomination was a virtual lock, Jared was back in New York pretending not to be related to him,” Coulter wrote.

“Only after Trump had racked up a slew of primary wins did a lightbulb go on in Jared’s head: Hey! This presidential campaign could be great for business! According to a close associate, Jared viewed the campaign as a terrific 'networking opportunity.'"
It is not the first time the commentator has criticized Donald Trump or his family members, despite being among his most ardent admirers during his presidential campaign. She has been outspoken in her disappointment at Trump’s decision to end the government shutdown (https://www.newsweek.com/real-time-bill-maher-ann-coulter-donald-trump-government-shutdown-wall-1306622) without securing border wall funds, claiming the president had failed his base.

“HEY! Who bet me that @realDonaldTrump was actually going to 'close the border'?" Coulter tweeted (https://www.newsweek.com/ann-coulter-chides-donald-trump-backing-down-close-border-threat-1386676) at the beginning of April after the president granted Mexico a 12-month period to tackle illegal immigration and drugs, continuing her critique of the president.

She is far less liberty minded than even Trump. She is a monument to the neocon religious right. Rand has almost nothing in common with her.

I'm not arguing with you but would like to see what Coulter stances/supported policies give
you pause to make that statement.

Ann is right about so much of Trump's fail (Israel first, bamacare, gun stance,Hillary free, swamp deeper etc...)
but I would see her as another GREAT Distraction in the sense that
she has no track or at least no visible track record of doing anything or voting in any direction.

How could she be any different than what we've already seen coming from politicians....
