I know acptulsa was just kidding but I wanted to make a point about socialism. To me socialism/communism or whatever you want to call it, is far worse than other political stances like foreign policy for example. Bad foreign policy might lead to a loss of core rights (property) down the road, but socialism wipes out your core rights instantly. Besides that most other political stances are somewhat self regulating. An overly aggressive foreign policy or a "war on drugs" is not widely popular. Socialism, especially a progressive income tax, is inherently popular because the majority gets to steal from the minority.
