This may be a silly question to ask.....but there was no mention of the man himself, Dr. Paul, being present at the rally in Boston: http://www.freedomrally12-16.org/

And the official campaign site hasn't any info either on where Dr. Paul will be this weekend.....

so am I crazy in thinking that Dr. Paul might NOT be in Boston for the Tea Party????

His son Rand Paul will be there.

Rand will be there, it's about time we got to know him anyway.

Randall Paul is the future if he chooses to step up to the plate.

Ron Paul isn't going to be there because of legal reasons. He said there was a slight scheduling conflict, but if it wasn't for a risk of breaking the law he would have made an effort to show up.

He talks about it in this interview on XM radio from yesterday.

I talked with Rand this morning (my daughter had an eye exam). He was talking about moving up his flight to Boston to ensure the weather does not keep him away. He is excited about coming to Boston, said it was the biggest speech he's ever given.

I mentioned to him that the hoards are clamoring for him to be the heir to the throne. He smiled and said, "That would be a stretch. You usually need to win something locally first."

We had a good chat about the revolution, and he thanked me for supporting his dad. I brought him a pic of my 5-year-old daughter working on a "Google RP" poster.

Really? I heard the Dr. will be parachuting in from a small airplane and landing in the middle of the crowd. Then crowd surfing to the stage, and beating his chest, "Constitution, Constitution, Constitution!" Similar to this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMU0tzLwhbE&feature=related
