Senator Graham who is respected and liked from both sides of the isle and also has close relationship with of GOP-Jarvanka leadership seems to be putting a "pause" on all of MAGA's foreign wars exits plans for Syria, Afghanistan etc. MAGA had already paused Iraq troops withdrawal himself.

A SENIOR Republican senator has warned that Isis is “on the rise” in Afghanistan and urged US President Donald Trump not to undertake a total US military pullout.

Senator Lindsey Graham warned that removing all US forces would damage security and could allow Isis (https://www.express.co.uk/latest/isis) to rebuild. Speaking on CNN (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsBDM7Zl-fc) the South Carolina Republican insisted that he would speak with the US President to ensure that troops remain in Iran. Senator Graham also warned that Isis was “on the rise” in Afghanistan.
He said: “He was dealt a bad hand by Obama, and he needs to play it better than he is playing it.
“Keeping the troops in Iraq is great, right now having been back from Afghanistan, I can tell you that Isis is on the rise in Afghanistan.
“But, if Pakistan would help us, we could get Taliban to the table and in the war in Afghanistan, our presence would then be focused on counter-terrorism, Isis.
“As to Syria, there are three things important to this country, number one, make sure Isis never comes back in Syria, that is why we need to keep some of our troops there, they’re inside the 10-yard line to defeating Isis, but we are not there yet.

Speaking before the New Year, Senator Graham added: “The President is reconsidering how we do this, he is frustrated, I get it, people should pay more, they should fight more.
“But, we are not the policemen of the world here, we are fighting a war against Isis, they are still not defeated in Syria.
“I am asking the President to make sure we have troops there to protect us. Don’t outsource our national security to some foreign power.
“If we leave now the Kurds will get in a fight with Turkey, they could get slaughtered, who would help you in the future?
“And if we leave now, there will be a land bridge from Tehran to Beirut in terms of supplying weapons against Israel.”

On a side note, haven't seen any confirmed report saying that he was branwashing MAGA's nears and dears to convert them to neoconism.. but if he's doing it, he needs to stop.
