The blimp isn't making the tea party

Good luck getting more donations...

It wouldn't have mattered. The weather is going to shut the Boston rally down anyway.

Weather report for Boston on the 16th: High: 35 °F RealFeelŪ: 15 °F. Windy with snow, then rain late in the day

Not a blimp expert, but I don't think that's friendly blimp weather.

I'm glad they finally decided to make a sensible decision.

You don't fly blimps in wintry weather.

Some of you have a hard time understanding that.

Right now, we've got a few inches of snow here in Connecticut, and I can't imagine it's much better in Boston.

Whatever there going to do....the sooner the better. Gonna be seen by alot more voters in the sky than in the hanger.

Better the airship is over S.C. on Dec 16th getting voters and media attention than stuck in a field somewhere being pelted with rain, snow and wind and have it show up in Boston on the 18th.

This isnt going to effect donations to the teaparty or to the airship.

Have they announced that is what is taking place? I hope so.

Yep......Rather see it flying around SC...weather here is great (I;m around Savannah Georgia) and media would be all over it. Especially with everyone calling media 24/7. Beats being grounding in a snow storm somewhere.

What are you talking about? Must they risk their lives to make you happy? We are expecting a Nor'easter here!

As long as we get 50% of the delegate votes to win the nomination, none of this really matters.

Blimp blog is pretty cool - looks great now the banner is fastened on tight. Can't wait for the first pics out on a sunny day in SC with children pointing at it ... surely the stuff local newspaper editors dream of for a front page?! :)

I knew SC would be the better bet, given weather conditions. It is best to keep our blimp safe and flying than in danger and grounded. The news coverage will still reach Boston and New Hampshire.

Because the weather stopped Washington from crossing the Delaware River?

I'm thrilled the BLIMP will be in South Carolina! Wishful thinking would have been to fly that BLIMP over the Oprah/Obama event last weekend in Columbia! I'm glad that they are sending that thing to Columbia though, SC is important.
