So, if I'm reading this right, she says that's political because you will get "shamed" for taking a week's spa vacation when you can't pay the electric bill.

This should be applauded. I would be happy if she took much, much more. In fact, she should take the rest of Congress with her.

No, I think what the Captain is saying is that we'd all be better off if they all went home on vacations...and never came back.

Even if on the surface she may appear tad bit better than GOP-Adelson wing's neocon political slave masters, her socialistic big gummit spending aspirations seem no better than current borrow-n-spend debt regime.
On things like universal health care/pre-existing consitons, gun control, abortion, bathrooms, DACA etc, they both look similar.
