This is shaping up to be a stunning rebuke of and major setback for GOP-Adelson/Jarvanka wing (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?529100-No-Trump-and-Nancy-Pelosi-did-not-watch-midterm-election-results-together-or-made-secret-deal&p=6718243&viewfull=1#post6718243) of Iran/Syria/Yemen wars neocons (often advertized as "America First" / MAGA wing) that is already in dire shape following Cohen's sentencing and other wheels falling off.

Clearly the intended fallout is the ouster of Mohammed bin Salman in favor of some other Saud royal the U.S. likes better.

As for Trump's statement that the U.S. will still be a Saudi ally, well duh. Any liberals who think differently are clearly not paying attention to Israel's affection for the nation and its regime.
