New YouTube Format Bad For Ron Paul

Ron Paul videos have always dominated the Top Rated News Videos (http://www.youtube.com/browse?s=tr&t=t&c=25&l=&b=0). And because the "Top Rated" link was directly below the "Most Viewed" link, casual YouTubers would naturally visit the "Top Rated" page second.

Unfortunately, it is no longer like that. YouTube changed their format last night and moved "Top Rated" to the very bottom of the list (the list is now sorted alphabetically). This makes it much less likely for casual people to visit the "Top Rated" page. It is subtle and I can't prove intentional, but YouTube can still kiss my ass.

The previous format was much better for getting to the Top Rated page (which has always been YouTube's second most browsed page).

Funny you should mention this happened last night, because last night someone started a thread regarding the amount of Ron Paul videos that were on the top rated page.

The new format does suck.

....and we need to stop assuming that we own the net...as soon as we let down our guard we will loose our foot hold.

As of lately, I have seen the view count of new Ron Paul vids go down compared to older vids....ratings are good..but new viewing is down.

We need to push it....hard....until it's over.

YouTube knows that Ron Paul Dominates all of their videos... and it will even be more so on the 16th.... Funny how they made that decision 3 days before the big day.

This new format has been in the works for months. First you can't just code this in one day. Second people have been able to view the new design by clicking a button... it's been around for like 3 months now.

The entire design of the page is redone and people have been able to view it in the new format for 3 months. This isn't some new development.
