Senate could vote to pull US out of the Yemen war
https://www.pri.org/stories/2018-11-27/senate-could-vote-pull-us-out-yemen-war

The Senate may try this week to get the US to pull out of the Yemen war.
SJ Res 54 (https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/senate-joint-resolution/54), a resolution sponsored by Democrat Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah, would "direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities in the Republic of Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress."
This is the second time Sanders and Lee have sought passage of the bill that would require US President Donald Trump to seek Congressional approval before continuing US support for the Saudi war effort.

That's only because they know it won't pass and bashing Trump about Khashoggi is the party line of the week.

I was referring to the Ds that voted for it.

That doesn't make any sense, but sure.

And what about the Rs who voted both for and against it?

It makes perfect sense.

And what about the Rs who voted both for and against it?
Those that voted for it either want the war to end or are Never Trumpers those that voted against are MIC stooges.

Inhofe has an excuse. He's nothing but an unapologetic and unrepentant MIC stooge. But Lankford actually has pretentious toward Christianity.

Cruz voted against it; why am i not surprised?

re: Trump: if Congress is responsible for matters of war and peace, how is it Trump’s right to veto when it’s constitutionally illegal for him to have US troops participating in a war against indigenous Houthis (who are no threat to the US) in the first place?

Can Iran be really pressured sufficiently without Yemen bloodbath?

If this passed, would be a major blow to GOP Adelson-MAGA-Netanyau necons wing that is already on pretty shaky grounds in the aftermath of WaPO journalist killing/dismembering be neocons allies.

►Yemen: Investigation finds Saudi Arabia & the UAE diverted numerous amounts of arms supplied by the UK & the US, among others,
to Yemeni militias including those linked to Al Qaeda and ISIS
https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2018/nov/28/arms-yemen-militia-were-supplied-by-west-find-analysts

"what a shocker! Pffffft. It only takes a few hours to find this out via local reports and opp forces. No further investigation.
For years it's been clear that NATO west props up terrorists with all kind of support, from financial to material, promotes terrorists as "freedom fighters"....
Ha!! BRINGS THEM even directly to the western countries (recent evacuation of al-Qaeda PR branch aka "White Helmets" to Canada, UK and only God knows where else).
The question is when will this stop? and Will the culprits, as May, Macron, Trump, Obama, Sarkozy, Cameron, high ranked military and intelligence officials be punished severely?"

Not as bizarre as it may seem...:

Meanwhile in Kiev, they publicly eat a cake in form of a baby on the Russian flag. For fun. Who is insane now?

They look for oppression and dominance over the sovereign countries and nations. Contrary to this, multipolarism guarantees sovereignty, builds relations based on mutual respect and agreements, not threats and blackmailings."

Arms to a psychopathic MbS/Saudi regime or Arms to a Cultic/Neonazi regime in Kiev or Arms to Buka Haram/ISWA in Niger
the SENATE ESPECIALLY is long time complicit. Juxtaposing themselves as Yemeni 'saviors' against 'warlord' Trump..
is complete theater by the agendists... hell they want a HOT war with China ffs.

Take this bill and shove it.... just waiting for the collapse personally.

The time is not far off when they will run out of money.
