Congressionally Mandated New Report Urges Massive US Military Increases (https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2018/11/25/congressionally-mandated-new-report-urges-massive-us-military-increases.html)

The Commission on National Defense Strategy for the US has just released to Congress its report "Providing for the Common Defense” (https://www.usip.org/sites/default/files/2018-11/providing-for-the-common-defense.pdf), and it opens: “In the National Defense Authorization Act of 2017, Congress charged this Commission with providing an independent, nonpartisan review of the 2018 National Defense Strategy and issues of US defense strategy and policy more broadly.” The report’s co-chairs, Eric S. Edelman and Gary Roughead, say in their accompanying letter to Congress, that “the United States will soon face a national security emergency.” It doesn’t describe that “emergency,” but uses it to argue that ‘defense’ spending needs to soar and all other spending by the Government — especially for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other “entitlements” — needs to shrink, and/or recipient beneficiaries of those programs need to pay more, and taxes need to increase, so that this “emergency” can be dealt with. They say that the weapons-manufacturers and soldiers need more money, and that this military requirement is an “emergency” but other federal spending is not.

The Executive Summary says:

Rivals and adversaries are challenging the United States on many fronts and in many domains. America’s ability to defend its allies, its partners, and its own vital interests is increasingly in doubt. If the nation does not act promptly to remedy these circumstances, the consequences will be grave and lasting.

The document strongly urges expansion of the US regime’s policing of the world, in the interests of America’s international corporations.

(EDITORIAL COMMENTARY: Neither the U.N. nor any other international body, has appointed the US regime to police the world. Furthermore, the US regime is the most frequent invader of foreign nations; and always, at least since the invasion of Iraq in 2003, is invading on the basis of lies (http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2015/09/americas-news-is-heavily-censored.html) and in violation of international law. But, the US regime nonetheless — as in "Providing for the Common Defense” (https://www.usip.org/sites/default/files/2018-11/providing-for-the-common-defense.pdf) — anoints itself the ‘authority’ to be police, judge, jury, and executioner, over this entire planet. This US-Government intention is a well-recognized fact recognized by peoples around the world (https://www.commondreams.org/news/2013/12/31/biggest-threat-world-peace-united-states). Hitler’s Government likewise viewed itself in this way. US President Obama stated this self-anointed global authority for the US, by asserting that “The United States is and remains the one indispensable nation” (https://off-guardian.org/2018/11/16/the-meaning-of-a-multi-polar-world/), which means that every other nation is dispensable. Hitler agreed with that viewpoint for Germany, and frequently expressed it.)

On page 63 (80 of the pdf), "Providing for the Common Defense” (https://www.usip.org/sites/default/files/2018-11/providing-for-the-common-defense.pdf) states:

Embracing a Whole-of-Government

Approach to Strategic Competition

This Commission was charged with making recommendations regarding US defense strategy. Yet even if America were to fund the Department of Defense lavishly, and even if all the other recommendations in this report were to be implemented, that would not be sufficient to address the threats and challenges facing the country today. America’s two most powerful competitors — China and Russia — have developed national strategies for enhancing their influence and undermining key US interests that extend far beyond military competition. It therefore urges placing the US Government on a war-footing, in virtually every governmental department.

On that same page, it states:

Looking ahead, policymakers must address rising government spending and decreasing tax revenues as unsustainable trends that compel hard fiscal choices… Congress should look to the entire federal budget, especially entitlements and taxes, to set the nation on a more stable financial footing. In the near-term, such adjustments will undoubtedly be quite painful. Yet over time — and probably much sooner than we expect — failing to make those adjustments and fully fund America’s defense strategy will undoubtedly be worse.

In other words, according to this congressionally mandated report: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, education, public health, safety-regulations, civilian infrastructure, and all other non-‘defense’ programs, must be severely slashed in order for the United States to be able to buy more of the machinery of mass-murder from Lockheed Martin and the other American manufacturers of the machinery of mass murder, which now form the basis for the American economy, of foreign conquests and coups, which must now be greatly escalated in order to keep America ’safe’ and those weapons-makers’ investors and executives happy. Similarly, America’s soldiers need more money. Furthermore:

Comprehensive solutions to these comprehensive challenges will require whole-of-government and even whole-of-nation cooperation extending far beyond DOD. Trade policy; science, technology, engineering, and math education; diplomatic statecraft; and other non-military tools will be critical — so will adequate support and funding for those elements of American power.

Their top (#1) “Recommendation” is: The United States urgently requires rapid and substantial improvements to its military capabilities, built on a foundation of compelling and relevant warfighting concepts at the operational level of war.

“Recommendation” #9 states: Deterring aggression in the Western Pacific will require using focused investments to establish a forward-deployed defense-in-depth posture. To deter a revanchist Russia, the United States and its NATO allies must rebuild military force capacity and capability in Europe.

#11 states: The Air Force, Navy, and Army will all need capacity enhancements.

#24 urges: Budget caps were — and still are — harmful to American defense. In other words: If eliminating, or at least slashing, non-‘defense’ spending can’t be done, then the Government must go yet further into debt now, in order to be “Providing for the Common Defense.” If necessary in order to address the ‘defense’ ‘emergency’, everything else now must be sacrificed.

#31 is: Congress should look to the entire federal budget, especially entitlements, as well as taxes, to set the nation on a more stable financial footing.

So: in case not enough money can be extracted from non-‘defense’, and from increasing the debt, then taxes — including taxes on the non-recipients of “entitlements” — must be increased, in order to be “Providing for the Common Defense.” That’s what an “emergency” is. Only the expenditures for soldiers and for the manufacturers of the machinery of mass murder are to be served, if sufficient extractions fail to materialize from those other sources.

The two chairmen, and the ten other members of the Commission, are all longstanding neoconservatives, supporters of all US invasions and coups and conquests. The first co-chair, the Republican Eric S. Edelman, for example, is so neoconservative that he condemns even neocon Democrats (such as Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden) who pretend not to be neoconservative in order for them to be able to campaign effectively for the votes of Democrats in Presidential primaries. For example, here’s from Wikipedia’s article on Edelman (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_S._Edelman):

.................................................. ...

So, now that this Grumman Director is working under a President (Trump) who is even more neoconservative than was Obama (or maybe even than Senator Clinton), he’s screaming for yet more money for himself and his investors, in the form of increasing ‘defense’-contracts.

CONCLUSION

That’s whom America’s troops are actually fighting for — the owners, and their executives (https://off-guardian.org/2018/03/28/how-the-military-controls-america/) — people who want more money and don’t care about the millions of people around the world that they help to kill and the millions of others whose continuing lives they make hellish (including even some destitute Americans who need the social services that will be cut in order to fund purchases of yet more bombs and missiles). America’s masters today are such psychopaths as this. Even 46% of the entire world’s military budget isn’t enough to satisfy them. Most individuals who become convicted and executed aren’t nearly as harmful as these people are, who ride so high the American nation, and (they demand) the entire world. They’re like Hitler’s Nazis, but on nuclear steroids. And the US Congress appointed this Commission.

Ridiculous. We've got the largest military in the history of the world, and we need to spend more to stave off an unspecified "emergency"?

How about we shrink the level, bring the troops home and have them police the border instead of the world.

D&R Party orders from Satan, their boss?

I trust that is a rhetorical question, yes? [<-- that, too, should be rhetorical.]

America’s ability to defend its allies†, its partners††, and its own vital interests is increasingly in doubt†††, ††††.

A few things come to mind.

†: Entangling alliances....

††: Entangling casual alliances...

†††: Pure Hegelian dialectical element alert!

††††: And if true, who put them in doubt? Think "Kissinger" and whoever pulled his strings.

And who let it happen through personal corruption? Very nearly every stinking last one of us from great great great great grandpa right up to the person staring back at us in our mirrors.

Barring Jesus hisownself come a trottin'cross the seven seas, tapdance style, and in no mood for playing games, IT is going to happen because not enough (hell, nary a one of us) are willing to do what needs doing because what needs doing is some ugly, dangerous shit. If you're not willing to kill to regain your freedom and to maintain it, then you don't really want it enough. And there once again, I repeat myself unto everyone's now-familiar nausea. If you think someone else is going to get FOR you that which you THINK you want, you're mistaken. We, the people, barely got over on the lousy Brit tyrants, and not without a shit-ton of help that got us knee-deep into debt from the get-go. And it has been downhill ever since. The 97% sat on the fence post, at best, and watched as the 3% bled and died and, years later, hobbled around with destroyed bodies. And for what? For WHOM? For those who followed? Worthless chud, damned nearly every one of them, no matter how brave they may have otherwise been. Why do I issue such sacrilege? Because so few of even the "finest" among us were capable or willing to think for himself. Only under orders of colored "authority" had they acted.

Some talk of how tough and adventurous the Brits were, for example. They were chud because they could not squat to pee without permission of the King. They were no better than we - worse in fact. Far, far worse, but that matters no whit because we, too, stand miles behind the line that separates the Freeman from the slave. We have no guts of our own, but only those that false authority gives us; the blessing of the King.

"Thank you for your service!" What the bleeding hell? Really? Service to whom? To WHAT? So you volunteered to go to Afghanistan? Eye-Rack? For America's sake you thought, yet it isn't that cause that sent you there at all; but you never stopped to consider that. Did you consider how your parents, siblings, family, and friends would feel when you returned home without legs, or eyes, or hands? Self-centered, lazy shit is what we are and have been for at least 200 years because almost whenever "authority" called, we came a runnin' like the jackanapes we truly are. My own little brother got blowed all up by an IED in Afghanistan. Luckily for his dear mother, the worst of it was a dislocated shoulder because he's the slipperiest bastard on the planet and mom doesn't even know about, to my knowledge.

We Americans are supposed to be "exceptional", and we are in many ways. But we're wholly plain in the ways that count the most. We fail in the ways that have consistently led humankind to the result we now enjoy: global tyranny where NOBODY is safe from Themme, the grand apex predators whose quarry is their genetic kin.

IT IS COMING, so prepare yourselves, ye cowards and other corrupts who hath all sold thy souls for the token fortune of comfort. The reward thy distant ancestors, excepting but a handful, is just on the horizon; the pretty slavery ye will so eagerly call "freedom"; the poverty ye will so gladly and with such relief and obsequious thankfulness declare to be thy "prosperity"; the slavery ye shalt all share in bland, monotone, lifeless, gray shades of "equality" is coming, and it shall be here soon in full, shriveled bloom because all thy talk of "freedom" has been a sham; a lie; a raft of bullshit larger than the oceans on which it has been launched.

So my thanks goes out first and foremost to mine own self for having failed myself so utterly; then to all my brethren who have matched my sad flag of duty to ourselves as Freemen who turned their backs to the one single thing in life that makes it worth the living. Then to the generations past of equally corrupt people who toed the lines of kings, emperors, and other beastly tyrants alike, the despotisms of whom have lead us to this grand pass at which we now find our kind.

So break out the booze, the coke, the full-ounce spliffs, the hookers, and the fucking dance music because what awaits us in a time that I regrettably may live to see, is just over there, getting less distant with every character I type on this machine.

When the going gets tough, one can always count in humanity to fail itself as it kowtows to some petty, punk-ass tyrant's whim.

I find myself failing at not becoming more disgusted with humanity by some ill-defined quantum with every passing day, my own failings the greatest cause of revulsion and depression in myself. And like an even greater idiot, one of WILL, I find myself clinging to hope that isn't even there anymore. Private Tailgunner reporting for duty, SIR!

But more seriously, does anyone here think that when Theye secure every last bit of the earth for Theire own that all of a sudden the world is going to become a safe space for everyone, great squirting penises and twats for everyone at whim and demand? Not a chance. The world will become all the more dangerous because I promise you that Theye view YOU are "extraneous". Nobody is safe NOW. You will be less safe THEN. The hints are everywhere apparent - "global warming", "over-population", are two of the majors. Does anyone here think for a moment that Theye are going to spare so much as a single one of your miserable hides when the only status you enjoy in Theire minds is that of "excess humanity"? Don't be assholes, for Christ's sake. Theye are going to cull the global population down by huge numbers and you won't be able to do a damned thing about it because you will be outgunned and outmanned. Theire soldiers will gun you down, if even that will be necessary, with glee because at least in their own minds they are "in" - house negroes to use the pejorative. They will be so thankful that they and theirs are not on the wrong ends of whatever instrumentalities are in use that they will do ANYTHING demanded of them, including sexually defiling the corpses of your infant child. And don't think for a moment that Theye will not make such demands of their lapdogs because such will be the tests of obedience in whatever numbers and frequencies Theye determine suitable for their purposes.

The further we allow freedom and autonomy to slip from our grasps, the greater and closer the dangers we face at the hands of monsters in human skin. And yet, it is as if the twentieth century has taught us nothing. Virtually all of us have lived through it, and we still ban and censor people who say that tyrants need to be murdered en masse; that those who will not do for themselves should be left to die by their own hands; that those same people, when they seek to take by force that for which they are not willing to work, should be murdered as petty tyrants themselves by the hands of people like YOU and ME. But no, we're "violent" and "dangerous". You're fucking right we are because we take our freedom serious enough to kill those who would circumscribe and thwart our sovereign rights and the resulting praxeological prerogatives that follow therefrom.

So that's it, folks. Unless you're serious about freedom, and I doubt any of us are, we should just shut our pie holes and take what is coming without complaint, for we have no right to whine about a damned thing until we become true meat-eaters.

Regards,

Dr. Fuckit

Of the entire universe, apparently.
