Alabama: The deadline to register (https://sos.alabama.gov/alabama-votes/voter/register-to-vote) to vote is 15 days before Election Day, or Oct. 22.
Alaska: The deadline to register (http://www.elections.alaska.gov/) to vote is 30 days before Election Day, or Oct. 7. Registrations submitted by mail need to be postmarked by Oct. 7.
Arizona: The deadline to register (https://servicearizona.com/webapp/evoter/register?execution=e1s1) to vote is Oct. 9.
Arkansas: The deadline to register (https://www.sos.arkansas.gov/elections/voter-information/voter-registration-information) to vote is 30 days before Election Day, or Oct. 7.
California: The deadline to register (https://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/voter-registration/) to vote is 15 days before Election Day, or Oct. 22. If the deadline has passed, California residents can “conditionally register” at county elections offices. The ballot will then be counted once the registration is verified.
Colorado: The deadline to register (https://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/FAQs/VoterRegistrationFAQ.html) online or by mail is eight days before Election Day, or Oct. 29. However, people can register in person on Election Day.

District of Columbia: People can register to vote (https://www.dcboe.org/FAQS/Voter-Registration) as late as Election Day with proof of residency. However, the deadline to register to vote by mail is 21 days before Election Day, or Oct. 16.

Georgia: The deadline to register (http://sos.ga.gov/index.php/elections/2018_elections_and_voter_registration_calendar) to vote is Oct. 9.
Hawaii: The deadline to register (https://elections.hawaii.gov/voters/registration/) to vote is Oct. 9. However, those who miss the deadline are still able to register and vote at designated “early walk-in voting” locations throughout the state.
Idaho: The deadline to register (https://idahovotes.gov/important-dates-for-voters/) to vote by mail or online is 25 days before Election Day, or Oct. 12. However, those who miss the deadline can still register and vote on Election Day as long as they have a valid photo ID and proof of residence.

In Indiana you need to be registered before the 27th day before the election .You must be 18 by or on the election date, a resident of Indiana living in that precinct for more than 30 days of the election date , a US citizen . You cannot vote from prison if there because of a conviction. You will need to show a photo ID . You may vote only once .
