He also said right before that he predicted 9/11, "They are going to blame Bin Laden and blow up the WTC". That doesn't square with a pure LIHOP position.

What he was saying was that the attack happened (no 3D holograms..), our Govt. stood down (Nancy Pelosi and such were not remote controlling the airplanes from a big room in DC, although they could have been remote controlled by someone), it was a real attack in the sense that there were Muslims involved but there was involvement by other actors (such as those who blew up the buildings) and may include some folks in Govt., especially a few who needed to create confusion to let it happen, but it wasn't "the Govt." as in all of the govt knowing and being behind it all. For example, people always seem to think that AJ thinks Bush was behind it and mastermined the whole thing, when he probably had no idea.. but his dad very well may have known what was going on, and there is almost no doubt Cheney did.
