And so, the paradoxical quest to find a man who is somehow both a) willing to get on national TV and voice his aggressive support for Donald Trump, and b), not plagued by some form of TV-toxic racist or sexist scandal just waiting to emerge resumes yet again today, with THR reporting that CNN has parted ways with contributor Jason Miller. Miller—former communications director for the Trump campaign—is currently in the middle of what sounds like a very ugly custody battle with another former member of the campaign, who accused him of dosing a second woman with “an abortion pill without her knowledge” during their relationship. Miller has denied the accusations, but says he’s now leaving CNN in order to “focus on clearing my name and fighting the false and defamatory accusations being made against me.” CNN confirmed his departure, but didn’t note whether it was as voluntary as Miller was making it sound.
But, then, the network’s PR team is probably pretty good at this by now, as Miller is just the latest symptom of CNN’s pro-Trump talking head problem. For whatever reason, they just can’t seem to keep these guys around, whether it’s suspending right-wing commentator Paris Dennard over allegations that he was fired from a previous job for sexually harassing behavior, or kicking off forming Reagan staffer Jeffrey Lord for firing off a cheerful “Sieg Heil!” on Twitter. (They never even bothered to formally fire Ed Martin, instead simply phasing his interrupting, bloviating ass off the air.)

A.J. Delgado, a former Trump campaign senior adviser whose affair with then-co-worker Miller produced a child, alleged in court documents obtained by Splinter that Miller had another affair with a woman he met in a strip club.
Court documents claimed once Miller learned the unknown woman was pregnant, he slipped her an abortion pill without her knowledge, which allegedly led to the termination of the pregnancy.
