You missed an option: 'I'm not a Christian because it requires me to believe too many crazy things, but I have deep respect for those (like Paul) who sincerely follow Christ and his teachings'. It would in fact matter to me if Paul were an adherent of some religion that was not respectful of human individuality and liberty, but on the other hand there are other religions besides Christianity that would probably be fine with me.

You weren't supposed to tell people Ron Paul is a druid until after the Tea Party. Now you've spoiled the surprise.

I support Ron Paul because of his strong stance for individual liberty and limited government.

That he is a practicing Christian is an additional bonus in my eyes as I know that he holds himself accountable to God. When men hold themselves accountable to God they are more responsible in their actions and Ron is a great example of this.

The poll above has limited choices so I will make my own.

D. I am favourable about Ron Paul's Christian beliefs, but I support him over other more relevant issues like his stance on limited constitutional republican government.

I would support him either way..... but if he did not have Christian values I would not be sticking my neck out for him with my Christian friends nearly as much.
