Also, tell that guy that Reagan said in his memoirs that he underestimated the irrationality of middle eastern politics. And, he was one of the few congressmen to endorse Ronald Reagan for President in 1976.

Proceed with caution, because that quote apparently can't be authenticated. There was a New York Times article in the late 90s that called it into question.

Just give him the pics with him and Reagan, Reagan has a quote on one of the pics.

And I think they called it into question not if it is authentic or not, but because he was anti-Reagan since he ran against Bush 1 in 88, and he was against a lot of what Reagan did, and at the same time used that quote for his campaign.

I read the quote is sourced to Reagan's memoirs. Not sure, but I DO know that it has been used in official Ron Paul congressional campaign material. Not sure why they haven't busted it out for this race...

One of Reagan's officials from when he was in the White House said that Reagan hadn't made any such comments. I'll try to find the article later.

Ron Paul was part of the Texas delegation at the republican convention in 1976. That delegation voted all 100 votes for Reagan. They even changed the rules in their state so that the super delegates that were supporting Ford were kicked out.
