President Trump touted an incorrect number for his most recent approval rating in a Sunday night tweet.

“Over 90% approval rating for your all time favorite (I hope) President within the Republican Party and 52% overall,” Trump tweeted. “This despite all of the made up stories by the Fake News Media trying endlessly to make me look as bad and evil as possible. Look at the real villains please!”

A poll released Sunday by The Wall Street Journal and NBC News found that Trump has a 44 percent approval rating.

The poll found that 52 percent of registered voters disapproved of his performance. This came after his former attorney Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to bank fraud, tax fraud and campaign finance violations on Tuesday.

The Hill has reached out to the White House for clarification regarding Trump's tweet.

Fake news?

The 90% is only among registered Republicans. They are about a third of all registered voters.

I was just going back and looking at George W. Bush's approval ratings..

On Sept. 21, 2001, his OVERALL approval rating was about 90%!!!

By the time his term was up, it was closer to 25%.

Among Republicans in the last couple of years of his Presidency, his approval rating was hovering in the 60s and 70s.

Fucking 9/11 (it was an inside job)

So he mixed up 47 with 52..

44 with 52.

A poll released Sunday by The Wall Street Journal and NBC News found that Trump has a 44 percent approval rating.

His rating has actually been remarkably steady as far as presidents go- keeping pretty close to 45%. Few if any changing their minds about him.

Fords ratings do a really neat freeform float!
A war and/or a military incursion begins with
popularity and a rallying around. Hence why
DJT wanted to go into IRAN as in recently...

If the Dems want to come up with 51 percent of the vote to beat him , they are not going to do it with clinton or bernie .
