Make that announcement 3 days before the election after having all the necessary paperwork and supplies ready to go, with self addressed, no postage necessary pre printed form. Fill it out, they scan/count it and drop it in the mail.
Great way to catch cheating. The leadership folks who complain because you made people use a pen vs PC or receive a piece of mail at a US address will have zero excuse. What could they argue about. Not everybody who votes has an address? Not everybody can write their name? If the scan/counter gets a bunch of returned non deliverable ballots, they don't count. If 2000 D votes go to one house address, verify. Make everybody fill in their address on the day they voted.
Wonder how different the proportions would be from the usual method to this. We may just find out there are in reality very few Democrats... Enough of a nuance to look into previous bogus D wins.

That's dumb. Voting is supposed to be anonymous. You want govco to start tracking everyone's votes now? I posted it before, but electronic machines already have the technology for an auditable and transparent verification that keeps votes anonymous.

Good points.
