According to The Wall Street Journal (https://www.wsj.com/articles/three-top-fbi-cybersecurity-officials-to-retire-1532036330), three of the top FBI officials -- Scott Smith, David Resch, and Carl Ghattas -- are exiting the bureau.

Assistant FBI director Scott Smith is set to resign this month, and will be joined by David Resch, the FBI's executive assistant director of the cyber, response and services office. Meanwhile, the national security branch of the FBI will lose Carl Ghattas -- also an executive assistant director -- as he pursues other opportunities in the private sector.
All the departures have been confirmed by the FBI.

In a statement, Resch assured the public that "the Bureau will remain the FBI the American people have depended on for 110 years". Those familiar with the decisions have labelled the mass exodus of senior officials as "highly unusual", particularly in the case of Smith, whose premature departure diverges from the standard practice of agents leaving after retirement age.

“Top officials”? They probably need to lose a lot more of them.

They're probably being blackmailed with NSA information so Trump can install loyalists.

Please, just abolish this mess. Or at the very least, rename your agency to accurately reflect what you use it for so the people are aware..

If there were they would have been pushed out after 8 years of Obama.

Scary to even think about how deep the corruption goes. Why Ron never talked about it? Was his campaign a psyop?

I think he had to balance the truth against what people were willing to believe and perhaps against what was safe to say.

LOL. People were willing to believe 9/11 was an inside job back then. His goal was to pacify the population. Think how close he got without getting there. This always bothered me. Also the number of assholes in the liberty movement was always quite concerning.

Do you know how many people still believed the official narrative on 9/11 and automatically discounted anyone who disagreed as a "lunatic"?
Ron played the 9/11 issue just right at the time and left it to the grassroots to spread the truth, if he had come out with the full truth about the deepstate far fewer people would have voted for him.

The truth must be brought forward in stages and he could have started to bring it farther forward if he had won the nomination and farther yet if he became POTUS.

9/11 was just an example. He never mentioned the deep state or how to overcome it. Was Jesse Benton his handler?

Yes, I came across many videos of Frederic Whitehurst here. https://www.whistleblowers.org/videos_categories/fbi-whistleblowers/
Should be a reason why we should advocate for whistleblowers to speak out.

Well it's completely wrong in this case.
