Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren discusses free markets and the Trump administration while on MSNBC, July 20, 2018

Sen. Elizabeth Warren told Americans this week that she is a staunch supporter of free markets — provided “rules” are crafted to control “the rich and powerful.”

The Massachusetts Democrat told MSNBC that low unemployment and high consumer confidence should not fool voters into thinking the economy is strong because the nation’s “lived experience” has plateaued or worsened under President Trump.

“I believe in markets right down to my toes,” she said when asked why democratic socialists are stars within the party. “But I also believe markets have to have rules. Otherwise rich and powerful just keep sucking up all the value and everybody else ends up eating dirt. … I think that big parts of this economy are not working for the American people.”

The senator then said that corporations “don’t share” with employees when they are doing well.

“The way I see this, is the lived experiences of most hard-working Americans across this country are not improving under the Trump administration,” she told anchor Stephanie Ruhle on Thursday. “What’s happening to them is they’re still stuck with flat incomes and rising core expenses. And the Trump administration is helping drive up those expenses.”

Mrs. Warren then blasted the Trump administration for enabling “for-profit colleges that cheat our young people.”

The senator declined to give credence to rumors that she might run for president in 2020. She wrapped up the segment instead by talking about her re-election campaign.

Move over asshole. I am just trying to help poor and less fortunate. I've been doing it for the last 40 years and got quite good at it. You should check my mansion. What have you got?

US budget: 4 trillion dollars.
Number of senators: 100.
Average amount controlled by each senator: 40 billion dollars per year.

Elizabeth Warren: clueless.

No one would be eating dirt. But what has she done to solve the problem of crony corporatism? What crony written laws and regulations has she repealed? Which cases of fraud and theft has she caught and prosecuted? Why does she always want to use taxpayer money to bail out criminals?

Earth to Fauxcahontas: Government rules are what the rich people use to kill competition and rob the rest of us.

The more complex the rules, the greater the odds that they were created for crony purposes.

Even at the worst stages of 2008-2009 Wall street bankers greed fueled subprime housing crisis that almost collapsed the whole economic system and greatly acclerated survivalist foods/tools sales, I don't recall reading reports of people eating dirt.
Unless she was using metaphors.

Maybe she was referring to recent immigrants who might have lived through something like that back home. Cultural enrichment.

Let's say that she agrees to be the VEEP on a Democratic ticket and does not do a senate run again.
Should I run for her seat, given that I am younger than she is??? I'm toying with being Reform Party.

Luv... As stupid as I sound to you, do keep in mind on many issues I am to her political right.
Perhaps I should focus less of my energies on replies to folks like yourself and more of them
on actually debating Ed Markey or her when they do a senate run again. In all likelihood, this
November the voters in my home state may return her to D.C if they vote the same they did
in the not so distant past. Our politics here has a Quixotic nature. I missed filing dates again.

Do run.

I could end up with very embarrassed near kin. As they became adults,
My nieces and nephews voted for Barack Obama and/or Hillary Clinton.
Running on a platform that would appeal to voters in the upper section
of New Hampshire when not sorta agreeing with Gentleman Mitt would
shock them all. I haven't said too often the things I have posted here!!!
I'm going to now focus on 2020 and 2022. We all need to be more active.
It don't hurt to plan ahead. There should be more active Liberty candidates.

The brainy M.I.T e*mail guy who is in Trump's camp is being challenged by SIX other Republicans.
The primary is on September 4th, so we have almost a month and a half to go. He might get lucky.

Senator Elizabeth Warren isn’t concerned about the 2018 election and is thinking about a bigger race in 2020.

She is focused on a political contest that is bigger than Ed Markey's 2020 senate run!

That's like building houses in places where no one will buy them. I think the major battle will be with speech. They have declared war on speech. People are getting attacked for their speech. This is not new with American politics but its going to make any sort of activism tough. I don't see people being encouraged to be the next Rand Paul because he gets attacked and shot at for his political views. It seems the medical industrial complex might be the winner of the election all along. I suspected that the crackdown against Chinese trade was because of intellectual theft of technology as in electronics but I am beginning to think this is probably more of a crackdown on generics and off shelf medicines.

And $#@! Elizabeth Warren too.

He's using his color to point out the hypocrisy that the left will claim to be tolerant and against racism but will support programs and candidates that exploit people based on their race. He is running against Warren.

These people are mental cases who cannot have a civil conversation.

Elizabeth Warren is on the side of Monsanto/Bayer. If she was really an Indian, as she says she is, then why would she want to ruin the corn her ancestors planted with GMO's? She is a fake, a fraud and a phony and needs to go!
