The reason we break the link, is because if it is clickable they can track it back to RonPaulForums.com. And then they think we are not real people for some reason.

If we can spam the polls then why can't others do it too? Polls are absolutely meaningless anyway, but at least it helps get our name out there.

no one on here seems to get it ... no one ever reports the polls that ron paul wins with ... shall we say a serious tone ... they always say we are stacking it ... so what is the difference in breaking a link ... i just don't understand it so ...

there's is a difference between "what? ron paul won this debate?" or "mmh, that ron paul guy came in 2nd" and "95% for someone I've never heard of? bullshit."

exactly ... all these polls that people are putting on here are non scientific ... how many people do you really think hear about NON scientific polls ??? a very small percentage compared to these cnn / usa today / etc. polls

well i don't know about you .. but anyone i talk to knows who he is ... because i tell them ... and you can't vote twice ... so whats so unbelievable about 95 % DO YOU WANT US NOT TO VOTE SO IT CAN BE LOWER AND "BELIEVABLE" (AS YOU SAY) ????? stupidest thing i have ever heard of

moglesb1
12-12-2007, 03:39 PM
and another thing ... who are you trying to convince ... the media???? they already know he is popular ... by how many emails they get about him ... people holding signs and them tightening shot so ron paul supporters won't be shown (univision debate) ...

congratulations. you spammed another poll. nobody will report or believe it.

:confused::confused:

I just voted, one time. Everyone else's supporters have just as much opportunity to vote for their candidate. Ron Paul actually has that support, not only the polls show it, but fund raising shows it too. Even Rudy said to Ron " you have a lot of supporters." If this election isn't rigged, Ron Paul is going to win.

WHO CAN GIVE ME PROOF THAT HYPERLINKING ACTUALLY TELLS THE OTHER SITE WHAT SITE YOU ARE LINKING FROM????? I DON'T THINK IT DOES ... THIS IS RIDICULOUS

It DOES. That's the way Google and other advertisers know who to pay for clicks on their ads.

Referrers : Where do your visitors come from ? This is the most relevant question when it comes to analyzing your traffic. With these logfiles (statistics) you will be able to see if e.g. your search en- gine submissions were successful . Or you can see which other webpages are linking to your site. This section "referrers" is the single most important part of your website statistics. You will be able to analyze exactly where your traffic comes from . Consequently, you can react if you get no traffic from the search engines or from certain websites where you have advertised.No need to break this link

You can and it's a common practice on here. If you want to post your own fine but why jump in someone elses thread to try and make a statement about a subject that you are unfamiliar with?
