His demeanor remind me a lot of Jeffrey Thomas from Mises institute, except Thomas is sweet and is very smart, while Keyes is crazy and has noregard for the Constitution.

Keyes' roommate at Harvard and 1988 campaign manager was PNAC-member Neocon-shill Bill Kristol according to Wikipedia.

During his first year of graduate school, Keyes's roommate was Bill Kristol, who later ran Keyes' unsuccessful 1988 U.S. Senate campaign in Maryland.

Keyes is a strawman meant to turn people away from alternative thinking in politics.

Keyes shouldn't even be running. Has he ever won an election?

If a democrat is running unopposed, he'll be there.

I LOL'd when he scanned through the candidates with his fingers, declaring them inadequate

I thought he did an exceptional job in answering the questions. Though I don't agree with him on some of his political philosophies, I still felt he spoke truth on some issues that not even Dr. Paul talks about in these debates, such as the importance of preserving the moral culture of our nation. Even so, Congressman Paul still has my vote, and Alan Keyes would be my second choice. Here are the Iowa debate highlights (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0o89_46L3E) for Alan Keyes for those of you who missed him in action. It was awesome how Keyes called out Huckabee, Romney, and Giuliani for being dishonest in their positions!

True, he has good intentions, but its not the job of the government or President to make society moral, thats why he's so scary. That job is up to society to acheive.

yeah, he put legislating morality above the US constitution, not cool

Admit it - it makes the debate fun to watch. I can't stand hearing these guys go back and forth all day... it's nice to have him there, even if he takes time from the other candidates. I don't agree with him on much, but I like him, for some reason.

He would do better as an Activist, preaching and marching and being interviewed on daytime television.

LOL That's just the way he is. Not gay, just emotional. He's a nice guy. I thought it was a bit disrespectful and unfair that the wannabe hillary she-beast-robot tried to skip him.

I hate that guy, he was annoying at the debate. Half his time was devoted to say he didn't have time, and the other half was about Jesus and other off-topic things, and they tried to stop him talk, and he talked more! Psh.

I think he obviously meant that about himself. He complained in that debate about not getting questions and getting overlooked. I don't think he was referring to Ron Paul at all.

He could probably be effective in the pulpit.
