Do we want it?

And could we petition him to drop out and give it?

We all know he is a big Ron Paul fan.

I think it would probably hurt more than help, to be honest.

They align on ONE issue... Iraq

An endorsement from Gravel would not benefit...

No more than that. They agree on abolishing the IRS, abolishing the Federal Reserve, and stopping the NAU.

That's quite a bit right there.

Ron Paul Fan

No. He's a socialist. He wants to build a windmill on every street corner and create a one world government.

i've always admired how honest Mike Gravel has always been. Here's a politician who is not afraid to name names, i could go on how i think he's a man of character.

but i think Gravel would endorse Kucinich rather than Paul.

Not true.

They both support the second amendment, abolition if the IRS, and they both are opposed to government spying and torturing people.

So he's a mixture of Fred Thompson, Mike Huckabee, and John McCain, but he's still running to the left of Hillary Clinton.

Nnnnahhhh, I don't think it would help.

Any endorsement is a good thing. Its not like he would be RP's running mate.

From Gravel's site

2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS

While Senator Gravel fully supports the 2nd Amendment, he believes that fundamental change must take place with regards to gun ownership. The senator advocates a licensing program where a potential gun owner must be licensed as well as properly trained with a firearm before they may own one.

Sounds like gun control to me.
