Recent TEDx Talks independent speaking events have featured guests promoting pedophile acceptance in society.
The TED organization distanced itself from one event Tuesday, which featured a German medical student at the University of Würzburg in a lecture entitled, “Why our perception of pedophilia has to change (https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6m9h2e).”
In the independently organized event, which took place May 5 (https://www.ted.com/tedx/events/24068), student Mirjam Heine discussed how pedophiles should be accepted by society, but must also be encouraged not to act on their sexual desires.

Using the story of “Jonas,” a pedophile she encountered only attracted to female children between ages 6 through 12, Heine attempts to draw a distinction between people who sexually abuse children and pedophiles who do not abuse children.
“Let me be very clear here: abusing children is wrong without any doubt, but a pedophile who doesn’t abuse children has done nothing wrong,” Heine says.
The speaker claims society’s exclusion and isolation of pedophiles may instead encourage them to commit child sex abuse.
“According to current research, pedophilia is an unchangeable sexual orientation just like, for example, heterosexuality. No one chooses to be a pedophile. No one can cease being one.”
“It is in our responsibility to reflect and to overcome our negative feelings about pedophiles and to treat them with the same respect we treat other people with.”
“We can make Jonas feel that he stays a valuable member of our society, although he’s a pedophile,” Heine says.
“We should accept that pedophiles are people who have not chosen their sexuality and who unlike most of us will never be able to live it out freely if they want to lead an upright life,” she adds.
“We shouldn’t increase the suffering of pedophiles by excluding them, by blaming them and mocking them. By doing that we increase their isolation and we increase the chance of child sexual abuse.”
A page at the TEDx event website (https://www.ted.com/tedx/events/24068) contained a synopsis of Heine’s lecture:

A "pedophile" who doesn't act on it is not a pedophile, just an emotionally damaged person. The act is what makes a pedophile.

Propaganda like this is intended to move the goalposts to blur the line between in-the-mind-only fantasies and real-life crimes against children.

Make no mistake, having already scored total victory on all current fronts, the weirdosexual Blitzkrieg is now taking aim at overthrowing any cultural aversions to 40 year men diddling eight year old boys.

Don't try and tell me there is not a population control agenda in play.

Well the definition is someone who is attracted to children, not just those who act on it.

I will say I can meet them part way. If a person is only attracted to children, and they never act on it, that is certainly positive.

But allowing them to "come out" in the open like some discriminated against group and trying to tell people to act like they should be "ok" with it does not sound like a good idea, at all..

As usual the progressive mind gets it back-assedward. Encouraging them to come out and be accepted will increase the likelihood that they will act on their desires. SMDH.
