SEE: Phil Murphy signs bill to let unauthorized immigrants get college financial aid (http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2018/05/immigration_status_will_no_longer_preclude_college .html)

May 9, 2018

”A New Jersey college student's immigration status will no longer play a factor into whether that student is eligible for certain in-state financial aid.” Jersey’s Socialist Governor Murphy went on to say “This is the world's melting pot where people in every part of the globe can come here in the hope of a new life"

It is absolutely stunning that the force of government taxation has been so perverted these days by our Nation’s Fifth Column Socialists that it now violates the very purpose for which a just and equal government is created.

"Under a just and equal Government, every individual is entitled to protection in the enjoyment of the whole product of his labor, except such portion of it as is necessary to enable Government to protect the rest; this is given only in consideration of the protection offered. In every bounty, exclusive right, or monopoly, Government violates the stipulation on her part; for, by such a regulation, the product of one man's labor is transferred to the use and enjoyment of another. The exercise of such a right on the part of Government can be justified on no other principle, than that the whole product of the labor or every individual is the real property of Government, and may be distributed among the several parts of the community by government discretion; such a supposition would directly involve the idea, that every individual in the community is merely a slave and bondsman to Government, who, although he may labor, is not to expect protection in the product of his labor. An authority given to any Government to exercise such a principle, would lead to a complete system of tyranny." ___ See Representative Giles, speaking before Congress February 3rd, 1792 (http://lcweb2.loc.gov/cgi-bin/ampage?collId=llac&fileName=003/llac003.db&recNum=179)

"To lay with one hand the power of the government on the property of the citizen [a working person’s earned wage] and with the other to bestow upon favored individuals, [the poverty stricken populations of countries who have invaded America's borders], to aid private enterprises and build up private fortunes, is none the less a robbery because it is done under forms of law and called taxation."____ Savings and Loan Association v.Topeka,(1875).

The good people of New Jersey need to start draining the swamp in Trenton and free themselves from its socialist/communist/progressive slave masters.

JWK

The citizens of New Jersey are sick and tired of being made into tax-slaves to finance a maternity ward for the poverty stricken populations of other countries who invade New Jersey's borders to give birth.

What gives you any idea that is true?

They voted for one party progressivism, in overwhelming majorities.

This is exactly what these "good people" wanted.

And they are gonna get it, good and hard.

In- state tuition for illegal immigrants was signed into law by Chris Christie in 2013. This latest bill lets them (Dreamers) apply for financial aid. http://thehill.com/policy/international/387074-new-jersey-governor-allows-undocumented-immigrants-to-get-financial-aid

Former Gov. Chris Christie (R) in 2013 signed a law allowing New Jersey residents without legal immgration status to pay in-state tuition at colleges in the state, but would not agree to allowing financial aid to those students.

Student aid these days is usually loans which must be paid back with interest.

You don't count the people of New Jersey who did not vote for progressives as "good people"? Who are the good people as distinguished from the bad people in your mind?

How can you be so suspicious? We would never do anything like that. Our record is 100% clean. Well, maybe except a few mistakes that did happen in the past, but this isn't something we should talk about, is it?

Unless you default and let the government pay.
Also it is still cheaper because of government subsidies.

I was addressing this comment:

Clearly, the vast majority of citizens of New Jersey are NOT sick and tired of it.

They want more, and voted in overwhelming numbers to get it.

But there are citizens of New Jersey who are sick and tired of it. You did write: This is exactly what these "good people" wanted. And they are gonna get it, good and hard.

I doubt if the "good people" want this crap. Why do you suggest they do?

I come from NJ, was born and raised there...I have my doubts about how many truly "good people" in that they unequivocally are in favor of limited government and individual rights.

But I'll cede the point to you, maybe I was unduly harsh.

The few that are there need to vote with their feet and GTFO.

I have a long time buddy/shipmate of mine who once scoffed, twenty years ago, at the idea one would move to a state or location based on political considerations, like I was preparing to do in moving to NH.

Now, twenty years later, he is under siege from statists, pussy protesters, progressives and Bolsheviks of all types in the heart of progressive Massachusetts.

And looking every day for his way out.

Not laughing or scoffing anymore.

I appreciate your candor. And I agree, the good people ought to leave and let the communists, socialists and progressives suffer the consequences of their own doings.

You are also not allowed to not have a car insurance when driving. That's why everybody buys uninsured driver insurance.

The unavoidable truth is, our Fifth Column social democrat political leaders’ plan for “free” college tuition will be paid for by confiscating the paychecks of millions of college graduates who worked for and paid their own way through college and are now trying to finance their own economic needs.
