I email John B. and told him if you look at the DONOR maps Alaska always leads the way with $$$, so spend so money there now and lock up the STATE for RON !! All it takes is a little money not much !

Alaska should be RP'S !

This is great news! That puts a huge hole through the "he can't win" BS! Let's start the dominoes and win them all!

A caveat. This wasn't a scientific poll.

I decided to study the demographics of Alaska for a clue as to why this state supports Ron so much. Only 6.6% of the population is over 65 years in age. It's well known, the younger a population is, the more open they are to Ron's message to freedom.

Ron Paul will win Alaska outright on Super Tuesday Feb 5th! This will be worth untold loads of credibility! No "lower tier" ever outright win states. This would be a huge signal to the "I don't want to waste my vote" crowd.

Wow! Great News.

I can't believe NBC though: "Alaska may nominate fringe candidate"... Assholes.

Even as he's clearly winning by a somewhat comfortable majority in the poll, the have to say it's a "slim majority", and then go on to tout Huckabee's "surge".

So damn biased, it makes me sick.

It will be overshadowed by the other states unless we can pull another state or two, or three.......

It's only "scientific" if RP is not winning...

Meh. It's the last state to have polls close on Super Tuesday. Far too late to influence anyone.

That said, GO ALASKA!

Alaska has 2x the amount of delegates to the national convention than will South Carolina. If you are in Alaska and not involved yet ....register republican and go to your local caucus on Feb 5th!! Join a meet up group every person will be needed!

I wonder what actually makes it "unscientific."

I know. They turn Paul's first place and seven-point lead over second place into "slim" and Huckabee's second place gets the asterisk of "surging" and "close second." Gimme a break.

How was this poll conducted? Telephone poll? Online Poll? Random people walking on the street?

If this was indeed an online poll that was posted here, it means nothing.

Don't worry. I predict two decades from now NBC will be a fringe media company. Who would watch NBC when we can get accurate information on the internet?

And of course, the title of the story:

Alaskans may nominate fringe candidate
