"Last week a U.S. District court judge rejected a request by Saudi Arabia to dismiss lawsuits accusing the nation of being involved in the 9/11 attacks.
So what does this mean for the families of 9/11 victims? Does this mean that Saudi Arabia’s immunity in the case has run out? And will the public finally get to read the 28 pages of the 9/11 report without redactions? Let’s give it a Reality Check you won’t get anywhere else."

"MAGA will declassify comission report redacted pages" headlines have vanished lately... because of this?

Danke, why must you diverge from regularly scheduled programming and raise such reckless questions.

If an American kills somebody in Saudi Arabia should the US Government be held liable and sued in a foreign court?

What if the 'murikan is/was working for the USG? What then?

See the "Raging Fire" in WTC 7 that supposedly caused the 47 story building to collapse in 7 seconds - 20 minutes after the BBC said it collapsed, which had never happened before in history- at least that's what NIST from the USG says.

Looks like nothing will happen:

Netanyahu shows support for Saudi officials over White House phone call
Israel and Saudi Arabia do not have diplomatic relations but share intelligence about their mutual enemies, especially Iran.

WASHINGTON — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called senior Trump administration officials to express support for Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman after the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, The Washington Post reported on Thursday.

Where does any MAGA crowd here stand on Saudi dictatorship?

Report: The Saudis Used Unsuspecting Veterans to Funnel Money to Trump

By Adam K. Raymond

In the first few months after Donald Trump was elected president, lobbyists funded by the Saudi government booked around 500 nights at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., according to the Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/saudi-funded-lobbyist-paid-for-500-rooms-at-trumps-hotel-after-2016-election/2018/12/05/29603a64-f417-11e8-bc79-68604ed88993_story.html). The rooms were largely for U.S. military vets, who appear to have been used as pawns in a scheme to funnel money from the Saudi government to the Trump Organization.
This story begins with a group offering vets free trips (funded by the Saudis) to the capital in order to lobby lawmakers in late 2016. The target of their ire was the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA), which would allow the families of 9/11 victims to sue the Saudi government. It became law in September of 2016 when Congress overrode Barack Obama’s veto and the Saudi lobbying effort began shortly thereafter.

Trump’s Publisher Pal Puts Saudi Propaganda Magazine in U.S. Supermarkets

The owners of the National Enquirer have a slick, ad-free magazine on U.S. newsstands praising crown prince Mohammed bin Salman—and insist they had no outside help for it.

A nearly 100-page magazine published by Donald Trump’s allies at American Media Inc. is providing a different kind of celebrity gossip than the American supermarket shopper is used to seeing. It’s selling America on a fellow Trump ally, Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
MBS, as the millennial victor of last year’s Saudi palace power struggle is known, is currently on an overseas tour (https://www.haaretz.com/middle-east-news/saudi-arabia-s-crown-prince-to-embark-on-u-s-trip-1.5865880) to cement his legitimacy. Its current stop is the United States, where MBS met last week with Trump (https://www.thedailybeast.com/senators-pushing-to-end-us-role-in-saudis-cataclysmic-war?ref=author) ahead of checking the young-king-in-waiting PR boxes of Silicon Valley and Hollywood.
Greeting Americans on newsstands is a high-quality glossy advertisement for MBS, The New Kingdom. It retails for $13.99, has no ads and its 200,000 copies can be found in venues ranging from U.S. airports to WalMart, Safeway and Kroger’s—raising questions about the magazine’s financing and its origins. The Saudis say they don’t know how it came to be. AMI, which publishes The National Enquirer, insists it had no outside editorial or financial assistance, from the Trump administration or otherwise.

The New Kingdom doesn’t feature any salacious gossip about MBS, but its coverage is just as breathless. “Our Closest Middle East Ally Destroying Terrorism,” the cover coos, sidestepping decades of Saudi Arabian financial support for terrorist groups and ideologues. It Disneyfies Saudi Arabia as “the Magic Kingdom.” It’s easily the most uncritical encomium to MBS since Thomas Friedman.

Enquirer Insider: 'Shoe To Drop' on Saudi money, AMI, Trump

In the 2016 campaign, the “National Enquirer” ran damaging headlines about Hillary Clinton and GOP opponents of Donald Trump. Chief Executive of the National Enquirer’s Publisher, David Pecker, is now cooperating with Federal Prosecutors. A former Editor at the National Enquirer, Jerry George, tells Ari Melber that Pecker “certainly” knew incriminating things about Trump that have not been published and says stories about Trump that the Enquirer did not publish are “certainly embarrassing” and those involving “the actions of his children” including Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, get close to “criminal activity”.

There have been so many similar headlines, claims, pledges and nothing ever happens.

Could it be the reason that such release risks fanning old conspiracy theories and opening of pandora box of lawsuits against some of our closest allies?

Israel targeted under law passed to help 9/11 families sue Saudis

Congress overrode President Barack Obama's veto last year to pass a law making it easier for families of Sept. 11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia — but now a Washington lawyer is using it to target Israel instead.
In a 103-page complaint filed Feb. 1, attorney Martin F. McMahon alleges that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as U.S. charities tied to President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and Trump's Israel ambassador pick David Friedman, are complicit in war crimes against Palestinians because of their financial support for settlement activity in the West Bank.

The suit could bolster critics of the Saudi-targeted law, who warned U.S. lawmakers that the statute opened the door to legal claims that ultimately could drag U.S. officials into court, even on flimsy grounds.
The lawsuit was first reported on by Courthouse News Service (http://courthousenews.com/to-fight-netanyahu-taxpayers-invoke-new-law-for-911-families/). The Israeli Embassy in Washington did not offer immediate comment Monday. The White House deferred to Friedman, who did not respond to a request for comment, and the Kushner Family Foundation, which declined comment.
