View Full Version : What's up with Ben Swann lately? (UPDATE: website & social media back up!))

So yes, Ben Swann and the Truth in Media team were on a serious roll towards the end of 2015, and then we made this mini-documentary -

and I really thought that would be the last one with my name in the credits under distribution, because we were going to Hollywood baby! Everything was going right, we had 3 TV networks lined up to broadcast that video, and a mess of mainstream interviews lined up for Ben to promote it. But not everything had been going smooth at Truth in Media since our 2013 launch, we honestly made a number of missteps along the way - and Ben had to go back to working at network TV to continue keeping his family housed, clothed and fed. Ben's new employer, CBS, did not particularly like that mini-documentary, and we had to pull it from being broadcasted and cancelled all interviews. It was a serious blow to us that we didn't recover from until January of this year. The Truth in Media website became nothing more than a place where Ben posted the Reality Check videos he made from the CBS studio he worked at - and that lasted until January 2017, when a series of Reality Check's he made upset some very powerful people and CBS gave him an ultimatum - take it all down, or else.

It was Sam Eaton that largely kept any hope alive that we could relaunch Truth in Media, and he kept looking to develop relationships to make it work until he found the one that did, with the treasury at https://www.dash.org/ - my hats off to Sam and Dash!

And we're back to being on a roll! http://truthinmedia.com is getting a decent amount of traffic again, we're getting a great number of views of Ben's Reality Check videos that we're releasing every Tuesday and Thursday, (mostly at facebook, but we're working to build up the video audience elsewhere) and we're close to launching daily video and more shows, and negotiating to have them picked up and syndicated - hopefully (fingers crossed) somewhere that really gets attention! Bigger picture - we plan to gradually build out Truth in Media until it looks something like a network of it's own.

And while Ben's facebook, twitter and youtube accounts are back up, it's a couple other social media sites that have me excited, because they value privacy and fairly treat content creators & those that frequent them.. So you can also find Ben Swann at -

If we're missing anything, please let me know! And here's to creating a media r3volution!

Keep it up.

I feel like we’re on the cusp of another truth wave push.

All the censorship and propaganda has got people digging once again.

Thanks Northbreather! I'm feeling it too! So our studio in Atlanta is up and running, definitely helping to keep production costs down - now we just need to land a syndication deal! If anyone can be of any help on that front or knows someone to introduce us to that might be able to help, please let me know! (not just networks, but apps and news aggregators too) We really need to get our video view numbers up - and how about giving them the front page treatment here at the forums? :) Every bit helps!

So I didn't get anything back from the Christian networks I reached out to - anyone else have ideas on making Ben Swann uber famous? :)
