U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested 97 people after raiding a Tennessee meat processing plant, in what civil rights activists say was the largest crackdown at a single place in almost a decade.
ICE spokeswoman Tammy Spicer announced the raid in a statement on Friday and said that of the 97 people taken into custody from Southeastern Provision meat processing plant in eastern Tennessee, 11 people were arrested on criminal charges, 54 were placed in detention and 32 were released.

So 11 of 97? The rest were (unlawfully) detained or sent home early...

That's some impressive gumshoing.

So 11 on criminal charges . Or probably about the same avg you would get with outstanding warrants at any midwestern factory ? At what point does the meat industry need to band together to sue for the continual harassment ?

They all deserve their day in immigration court per the law as passed by the United States congress. Those that are deemed low priority for deportation are allowed their reprieve, can probably return to work. If they don't like our laws, they are foreign nationals that have citizenship in their home country and can return on their own recognizance instead of waiting for deportation. If I did the same in a foreign country, I would expect much harsher treatment.

That is the important part that is missing. Elimination of the welfare state. Instead, we are expanding the welfare state.
