Cambridge Analytica Execs Caught Discussing Extortion and Fake News

In a series of undercover videos filmed over the last year, Britain's Channel 4 News caught executives at Cambridge Analytica appear to say they could extort politicians, send women to entrap them, and help proliferate propaganda to help their clients. The sting operation was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into Cambridge Analytica, a data consulting firm that worked for President Trump's 2016 campaign.
The video follows an investigation by The Guardian (https://www.theguardian.com/news/2018/mar/17/cambridge-analytica-facebook-influence-us-election) and The New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/17/us/politics/cambridge-analytica-trump-campaign.html), which revealed that Cambridge and its related company, SCL, harvested data on 50 million Facebook users, and may have kept it, despite promises to Facebook that they deleted the information in 2015. Cambridge and SCL have denied these accusations, and in a statement to Channel 4, the company also denied "any allegation that Cambridge Analytica or any of its affiliates use entrapment, bribes, or so-called 'honey-traps' for any purpose whatsoever."

The video evidence suggests otherwise.

McGreevy had met Cipel several years earlier in Israel, and it was Charles Kushner who sponsored the young Israeli’s work visa to the United States and then generously employed Cipel in one of his companies before the governor hired him. Alex Stamos, Facebook's outspoken chief security officer, is leaving the company, according to a report (https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/19/technology/facebook-alex-stamos.html) Monday by The New York Times.
The apparent reason for the departure is Facebook's handling of misinformation and disclosures related to the company's investigation into Russian trolls abusing Facebook's services during the 2016 US election. Stamos reportedly clashed with top executives including COO Sheryl Sandberg over how the company should handle the situation.
According to the Times report, Stamos initially told the company he wanted to leave in December, after his day-to-day duties were reassigned. He was convinced to stay until August to help see through the transition of his responsibilities.
The apparent departure comes as Facebook deals with a controversy over Cambridge Analytica and its misuse of data from 50 million Facebook accounts.

The recent controversy and escalating scandal over Facebook's decision to ban Trump-linked political data firm Cambridge Analytica over the use of data harvested through a personality app under the guise of academic research has opened a veritable Pandora's box of scandal for the Silicon Valley social media giant.

Carol Davidsen, who served as Obama's director of integration (https://www.linkedin.com/in/cldavidsen/)and media analytics during his 2012 campaign (in her LinkedIn profile (https://www.linkedin.com/in/cldavidsen/)she says she was responsible for "The Optimizer" & "Narwhal" big data analytics platforms), claims - with evidence, that Facebook found out about a massive data-mining operation they were conducting to "suck out the whole social graph" in order to target potential voters. After Facebook found out, they knowingly allowed them to continue doing it because they were supportive of the campaign.
"[M]ore than 1 million Obama backers who signed up for the [Facebook-based app] gave the campaign permission to look at their Facebook friend lists. In an instant, the campaign had a way to see the hidden young voters. Roughly 85% of those without a listed phone number could be found in the uploaded friend lists. Steve Bannon of Robert Mercer-owned media outlet Breitbart News joined the Board of Cambridge Analytica. Trump Advisor Kellyanne Conway also has close ties to Robert Mercer. Mercer funds Cambridge Analytica. At one time Michael Flynn worked for the parent company of Cambridge Analytica – SCL Group.

Most media outlets claim that Robert Mercer is the largest shareholder in Cambridge Analytica.
From shortly after its inception in 2005 until June 2015, the largest of the 15 shareholders of the UK Strategic Communications Laboratories Ltd. (in 2015 renamed to SCL Group) was Vincent Tchenguiz.
Tchenguiz has been involved with the Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash, who was involved with (once Trump’s campaign manager) Paul Manafort.

There are also stories that the British authorities have started an investigation into Cambridge Analytica violating privacy, by using Facebook data...

More than a year ago, it was claimed that “highly reliable sources” confirm that the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division increasingly focuses on the connection between Russia’s cyber-disinformation efforts and Cambridge Analytica.

Cambridge Analytica, which is partly owned by billionaire and Trump-backer Robert Mercer, once boasted that it had Steve Bannon, Michael Flynn and other key members of the Trump team on its Board of Directors or Advisory Board. Bannon received a six-figure “consulting fee”.

Mercer invested at least $10 million in Cambridge Analytica because he was impressed with its work for his friend, Tea Party sympathiser L. Brent Bozell III. Mercer was also a friend of the British Brexit leader Nigel Farage.
Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon, worked for the Mercer-owned media outlet — Breitbart News. Trump Advisor Kellyanne Conway also has close ties to Mercer.
Paul Manafort’s important client, billionaire Dmitry Firtash (with close ties to Gazprom), owned a major stake in SCL.

One of the connections between the Russians, WikiLeaks, Cambridge Analytica and the Trump Campaign was through Russia’s Alfa Bank. The SCL Group has financial ties to Alfa Bank, and Trump advisor Richard Burt, sat on Alfa’s advisory board.
The suspicion is that SCL and WikiLeaks used the Alfa Bank server to transmit voting records, key DNC/Clinton emails and documents to communicate with the Trump Campaign to swiftly capitalise on the WikiLeaks releases.
Trump Campaign was able to so quickly exploit WikiLeaks’ data dump of the tens of thousands of pages hacked from the DNC, Clinton Campaign, and John Podesta databases. Literally within hours of some of these public releases by WikiLeaks, starting on July 22, 2016 on the eve of the Democratic National Convention and continuing periodically thereafter, the Trump Campaign was sending micro-targeted bots and messaging to the Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts of key voters battleground states
Roger Stone bragged that he was in touch with Julian Assange and Russian hackers using the name “Guccifer 20”. In August 2016, Stone correctly predicted back that it would soon be Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s “turn in the barrel”.

Bots flooded US social media with pro-Trump and anti-Clinton stories. Mostly with links to “fake news” stories from Breitbart News, Infowars, RT (Russia Today), Sputnik News or other “news” sources.
Using Cambridge Analytica’s data and messaging strategies, the Cruz campaign was able to send different messages to voters in the same voting district.
FBI Director James Comey through the release of his 28 October 2016 letter about “reopening” of the closed Clinton email investigation was the (arranged) icing on the cake...

SCL claims to have access to thousands of “data points” about every American man, woman, and child, as well as a massive database on foreign nationals.

The most common reasons for manipulating people are advertising for better sales or voting. There are even specialised companies that supposedly improve communication by training, but in reality profile personality to make it easier to manipulate them (for their employers).

Psychometric profiling is the process by which your actions are used to determine your personality. The most common model used is the OCEAN model, named for the 5 main personality traits: Openness, Contentiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism.
These profiles give advertisers, political strategists and employers insights into users’ beliefs, behaviours and motivations. By appealing to these underlying traits on an individual or group level, psychometrically-informed advertisements are more persuasive.

There used to be a time that surveys were needed to determine somebody’s personality. These days algorithms use data in computer systems (e.g. from Facebook) to predict somebody’s psychological composition. After his groundbreaking finding in 2013, in 2015 Kosinski demonstrated that simple algorithms can better predict a person's personality than his/her own friends, co-workers or partners.

Micro targeting isn’t only done on an individual level, but also in (preferably small) groups. When they know the average personality of a group of internet users (for example a Whatsapp Group) they can customise the messages to manipulate the group as a whole. With internet search engines that (don’t) find information depending on your location this strategy could be used internet wide in the not too distant future.

The consumer credit reporting agency Experian holds data on over a billion people in Europe and the US. It advertises its psychometric capabilities and earned over $4.6 billion in revenue in 2015. Among the offerings of Experian Marketing Services is Audience IQ.

There is no direct evidence that Gates or anyone within the Trump campaign acted on the Israeli company’s proposals.

Iranian-born British citizen Vincent Tchenguiz was the largest shareholder in the parent company of Cambridge Analytica, SCL Group, from 2005 to 2015.
In 2014 and 2015, SCL Group held meetings with Lukoil, Russia’s second-largest oil company.

In 2010, Tchenguiz met Dan Zorella, at the time an employee of a business intelligence firm called Businessscope. Businessscope was founded in May 2010; Tchenguiz held a 17% stake in Businessscope.

Tchenguiz also played a prominent role in founding the controversial Israeli business intelligence company Black Cube in 2011 with Zorella, including funding. Tchenguiz also made his London office available for the nominal monthly rent of one British pound.

Gatestone is primarily financed by member of the Council on Foreign Relations Nina Rosenwald. In 2003, Rosenwald was awarded the Louis Brandeis Award, given by the Zionist Organization of America for her pro-Israel advocacy.
Funding for Gatestone also comes from the Middle East Forum (MEF) that is also financed by Rosenwald.
Gatestone Media also provides content for Rebel Media, which is financed by Robert Mercer.
Before John Bolton became National Security Advisor to President Donald he was chairman of Gatestone.

The Gatestone Institute lists Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz as a “distinguished senior fellow” who contributes to the site. Dershowitz was once introduced by Trump’s good friend Lynn Forester (these days “Lady” de Rothschild) to another buddy of Trump, Jeffrey Epstein. In November 2016, Gatestone reported that the European Union ordered the media not to report when terrorism suspects were Muslim. This was based on some group, that has nothing to do with the EU, which called for such a measure.

In May 2017, the internet was buzzing with the story that “Germany confiscates homes to give to migrants” based on a story from Gatestone. This was based on a single rented apartment in Hamburg that had gone into temporary trusteeship.
Nina Rosenwald emailed links to support Gatestone’s claims. One of these stories, according to Rosenwald, documented “warring Muslim gangs” in Marseille, France, but it only says that the city had deployed specialised police officers to a high-crime area (with no mention of warring Muslims).

Gatestone has also claimed that 500 churches in London were closed compared to 423 new mosques opening, which picked up by numerous websites including Breitbart News.
In reality, from 2005 to 2012 London saw 700 new churches and the total number of churches increased between 2008 and 2013.

John Bolton has a long association with Pamela Geller, a long-time supporter of Israel’s favourite Dutch politicians, Geert Wilders. Ingeborg’s husband, Ira Rennert, is a “Jewish” billionaire, who made his billions the corrupt and dirty way (is there any other way?).
Ira Rennert was a board member of Integrated Resources that became infamous for junk bond swindler Michael Milken, who raised $2 billion through junk bonds. Integrated Resources collapsed amid scandal and defaulted on $1 billion of bond debt in May 1989, but Ira Rennert remained free of charges.

Ira Rennert continued the junk bond swindle to finance acquisitions for the Renco Group. Rennert acquired the shares of struggling companies and financed the acquisition by issuing junk bonds.
Rennert paid substantial dividends out of Renco to himself.

In 1989, Renco acquired the largest magnesium producer in the US - Magnesium Corp. in Utah. Magnesium Corp refines magnesium from the water of the Great Salt Lake using chemicals.
In 1996, Renco established Renco Metals, Inc. as a holding company for Magnesium Corp and issued $150 million in bonds.
Just like WCI Steel, which was controlled by Ira Rennert, the company paid Renco $90 million in dividends by the year end.

Toxic heavy metals from Magnesium Corp - like arsenic, cadmium and lead - rained down as fine dust on the Herculaneum community in Missouri.
In 2001, the Department of Justice filed charges against Magnesium Corp for violating the hazardous waste law, and noted that Rennert’s removal of money from Magnesium Corp, was “leaving the companies insolvent and unable to pay their bills”.
The court case went on until 17 August 2010, when the Court of Appeals ruled that the Magnesium facility in Rowley, Utah was illegally disposing waste.

In 1997, the corrupt Peruvian government sold their government owned smelter in La Oroya to the Rennert controlled Doe Run.
Two million pounds of contamination were spewing out of those chimneys every single day. The contamination (including lead) became trapped between narrow canyon walls creating a huge gas chamber, and fell like rain on every inch of the city. That resulted in over 99% of the city’s 12,000 children having lead levels high above US standards. The people face the risk of cancer at 2,000 times the normal rate.

Daphne Caruana Galizia was repeatedly harassed with defamation law suits to remove this information from her blogspot.

Galizia was sued for defamation in London by the notorious law firm Mishcon de Reya for Henley and Partners. In the Eastern Caribbean, SCL was manipulating the elections in at least 6 countries. One objective appears to get governments set up that would allow the lucrative trade in passports (by Henley and other similar companies).
Passports from a “respectable” country are a valuable possession for the elite, money laundering criminals. It’s estimated that the elite spend over $2 billion on “citizenship by investment” (CIU).
In at least 5 Caribbean nations, SCL’s campaigns were backed by Christian H. Kalin, CEO of Henley.

Well before the 2010 campaign in Saint Kitts, Henley and Partners worked with Denzil Douglas to sell passports for the bargain price of $150,000. Starting in 2009, such citizenships allow visa-free travel to over 100 countries, including the UK, the European Schengen zone. By 2014, passports had become Saint Kitts’s biggest export, with the revenue estimated at 25% of GDP.
Neighbouring islands and over 30 countries around the world have started similar “citizenship by investment” programs. In Dominica, a similar passport can now be bought for $100,000.
The US has a related investment scheme, the EB-5visa, which Jared Kushner was using to attract $500,000 investments from China.

Convicted felons Paul Bilzerian and Roger Ver now use Saint Kitts passports.
Many of the passport buyers are from “unpopular” countries, like Iran, China, Russia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
In 2014, the US Treasury noted that “Iranian nationals” are trying to evade sanctions by using Saint Kitts’s passports.

Shortly before the 2010 election in Saint Kitts, Nix was introduced to Kalin. Nix would become Cambridge Analytica’s founding CEO in 2012.
Prime minister of Saint Kitts, Timothy Harris, encountered SCL’s work in 2015, when he was running for office against Denzil Douglas on a pledge to reform the country’s passport program. Henley and Partners was dismissed as Saint Kitts’ main passport seller. In 2014, Henley also lost its position as the primary Dominica’s passports seller.

Henley’s place as the primary seller of Dominica and Saint Kitts passports was taken by another London-based firm CS Global Partners. The head of Dominica’s CIU program announced that there had been between 1,500 and 2,000 investor passport applications in the country of 50,000 people - 1,200 in only 5 months.
CS Global was founded and led by a former attorney at Henley and Partners. Reportedly it was financed by the British-Indian Dev Bath, who also hired long-time DC lobbyist and former special counsel to President Bill Clinton Lanny J. Davis, to promote Saint Kitts and Dominica passports.
Long-time associate of Bath, Peter Singh Virdee, was arrested in January 2017 at Heathrow Airport on charges of evading millions of dollars in carbon credit taxes.

SCL launched a “targeted digital attack” against Saint Vincent Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves, which resulted in “Within three weeks every single reference to him on the first two pages of Google (…) referred to the candidate’s horrific track record of corruption, coercion, rape allegations, and victimization”.
SCL charged $4 million for its work in Saint Vincent that year.

At the time of her murder, Daphne Caruana Galizia was facing dozens of defamation lawsuits, including from Henley and the cofounder of Malta’s Pilatus Bank, Ali Sadr Hasheminejad (son of one of Iran’s richest men).
Hasheminejad has been linked to money laundering with officials in Malta’s prime minister’s inner circle. In 2009, Hasheminejad bought a Saint Kitts passport from Henley. In March, he was arrested by federal agents at an airport in Washington on charges of evading US sanctions against Iran; he had 4 passports with him.

Mishcon de Reya was once the law firm that represented Princess Diana.

The SCL Group was involved in orchestrating Brexit.
After the success of Brexit, none other than Mishcon de Reya started a media campaign that it would be “unlawful” for the PM to trigger art. 50 of the Lisbon Treaty without the approval of Parliament.

Every week British stories are published to make Brits “fight” for their right to leave the EU. Often these stories focus on George Soros or Theresa May sabotaging Brexit by arranging a new referendum or the art. 50 procedure won’t be finished in time…
I posted that the elite controlled SCL Group staged both the campaign for Brexit and president Trump, with my conclusion that “they” wanted these events to happen.

At that time I searched in vain for a good motive for why the Order of the Garter wanted Britain out of the European Union. Recently I stumbled per chance on a story that shows that Brexiteers are really “fighting” for the right of the elite to evade taxes and launder money.
Leaving the EU, withdraws Britain from “new” tax avoidance laws that would make the semi-legal offshore bank accounts of people like Jacob Rees-Mogg, David Cameron, Boris Johnson and… Queen Elizabeth problematic.


The following recent Daily Mail piece actually warns that the EU wants to shackle Great Britain to EU tax policies after Brexit. Couldn’t they be more blatant?
The draft documents, written by the TAX3 committee, state:
The intention is that they commit to continue to alignment with EU standards, including for their overseas countries and territories.
So the EU wants to stop tax evasion and money laundering through offshore “overseas” bank accounts? I really don’t believe they are!

The Daily Mail continued their money laundering supporting propaganda with the following quote from Leave.EU:

While everyday working people have no choice but to pay taxes in their own country, the global elite avoid paying their share by setting up shell companies in exotic tax havens.
Individuals from 200 countries used more than 214,000 offshore entities to help them launder money and evade taxes worth billions in tax. Those implicated included 140 politicians and officials; including the president of Ukraine, the prime ministers of Iceland and Pakistan, and the King of Saudi Arabia.

In October 2017, in the wake of the Panama Papers, the European Parliament’s Committee of Inquiry into Tax Avoidance and Tax Evasion was set up, which recommended for stricter sanctions against banks and intermediaries involved in illegal tax or money laundering schemes.

By leaving the EU, Britain won’t have to face the new EU rules.
This is very relevant, as the UK already had the largest number of offshore entities of any EU nation in the Panama Papers, with 17,973. Only Luxembourg came close with 10,877.

MP Jacob Rees-Mogg received $680,000 through an investment firm based in the British Virgin Islands.

Arron Banks donated £8.5 million to Nigel Farage and his campaign to leave Europe and continues to argue for a hard Brexit. He co-owns the Isle of Man-based Conister Bank with his friend and fellow Brexiteer, the Isle of Man resident Jim Mellon.

In 2015, Arron Banks’ insurance business Southern Rock was bailed out, just months before Banks began bankrolling the Leave.EU referendum campaign to which he donated £8.4 million.
One of the 2 campaign vehicles that received Banks’ £8.4 millions, Better for the Country Ltd, was set up by STM.

If Southern Rock Insurance had gone bankrupt this could have made Banks’ UK insurance broker Eldon collapse.
ICS Risk Solutions, a holding company on the Isle of Man, pumped £77.7 million into Southern Rock to save it from collapse. Banks owned both ICS and Southern Rock; it is not clear where the money came from.

A core business for STM is setting up offshore trusts, to make it difficult to trace who ultimately owns the assets.
STM services helped to invest pension savings in the Trafalgar Multi Asset Fund, which collapsed in 2016 and is under investigation of the UK’s Serious Fraud Office. STM should have seen red flags before the pension debacle.

On 19 October 2017, Alan Kentish was arrested in Gibraltar for failing to notify the authorities on money-laundering by one of STM’s clients. Following his arrest, Kentish resigned his directorships of 2 companies linked to Arron Banks.
STM was managing operations for Henley & Partners, whose business includes helping rich foreign nationals acquire citizenship of tax havens; and whose chairman reportedly has ties to Cambridge Analytica.

Junior STM staff reported on internal suspicious activity for 19 individuals or entities. According to our wonderful media we have to believe that there are legitimate reasons for the elite to hide their wealth through offshore funds.
Queen Elizabeth by law is exempt from taxes. According to our dumb, deaf and blind media we have to believe that Elizabeth voluntarily pays taxes. If that is the case than why doesn’t Elizabeth have the law changed, so that she is obligated to pay taxes (as this wouldn’t really make a difference)?

The Duchy of Lancaster is a private estate that was set up in 1399 to manage land and investments for the reigning monarch. In March 2017, the Duchy was worth £519 million.
The Duchy of Lancaster has invested £10 million ($13.1 million) from Elizabeth’s private estate into offshore funds in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. This had never before been disclosed. If Elizabeth pays taxes, like she claims, I would like to see evidence that she paid taxes over the income generated from her investments through this Cayman Islands fund.

In September 2005, the Duchy of Lancaster invested $7.5 million (£5.7 million) in Dover Street VI Cayman Fund LP.

The US company running the fund later asked the duchy to contribute $450,000 (£344,000) – 6% of its commitment - into UK retailer BrightHouse and Threshers. The Duchy of Lancaster refused to disclose the size of its original 2007 investment in BrightHouse, which coincided with a boom in its value. The Duchy claims the BrightHouse holding now equates to £3,208.
In September 2007, when BrightHouse began the Duchy contributed $450,000 to five investments (including "Project Bertie"). This included an interest in London-based private equity firm Vision Capital that acquired 100% of BrightHouse and 75% of the Threshers off licence chain.

BrightHouse has since been accused of overcharging customers, and using hard sell tactics on people with mental health problems and learning disabilities.
In 2015, a UK parliamentary report concluded that BrightHouse was charging interest rates of up to 94%. One in 5 customers was in arrears and one in 10 purchases ended in repossession. In one case, a Samsung freezer cost £644 to buy but £1,716 under a five-year plan from the chain.
In October 2017, BrightHouse was ordered to pay £14.8 million in compensation to 249,000 customers for not handling in their best interest.

BrightHouse has limited its tax bill through a large loan to a Luxembourg holding company. Between 2007 and 2014, it reported £1.6 billion in revenue and made an operating profit of £191 million, but paid less than £6 million in taxes.
The Paradise Papers show only one payout from the fund to the Duchy of Lancaster in June 2008 of $361,367 over which it paid only $1,505 (0.4%) in tax.

Threshers' balance sheet was loaded with debt and it paid no corporation tax for 2 years. When the drinks retailed went bust in October 2009, almost 6,000 people lost their jobs and it owed £17.5 million in UK tax (how much did Queen Liz take?).

The Duchy of Lancaster also invested £5 million in the Jubilee Absolute Return Fund, which invests in hedge funds. At the time of the investment in June 2004, the fund was based in Bermuda. In 2006, it moved to Guernsey.
This investment ended in 2010.

Psy-Group, a mysterious Israeli company that is reportedly being investigated by the FBI in connection with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into alleged illegal interference in the 2016 US presidential election, was also involved in covert anti-BDS efforts, according to a lawsuit against the company and multiple sources who spoke to The Times of Israel.
BDS is a campaign by some pro-Palestinian activists encouraging people to boycott, divest from and sanction Israel over what they call its ill-treatment of the Palestinians.

Psy-Group, which operates in Israel under the name Invop Ltd, is a self-styled leader in “intelligence and influence” which boasts in its marketing material of its covert techniques and capabilities. Its founder and co-owner Joel Zamel was reported by the New York Times last month to have met with Donald Trump Jr. three months before the November 2016 US presidential elections, offering to assist his father’s campaign, and the company was reported to have drawn up “a multimillion-dollar proposal for a social media manipulation effort to help elect Mr. Trump.”

While a lawyer for Zamel denied that he or any his companies had any involvement in the US election campaign, Bloomberg News has reported that Special Counsel Mueller’s team is investigating flows of money into Psy-Group’s Cyprus bank account, and also that Psy-Group formed an alliance with Cambridge Analytica, a (now collapsed) company that the Trump campaign consulted on social media issues, following Trump’s election.
Psy-Group’s marketing materials highlight its “professionalism, legality and discretion,” and little is publicly known of its activities, but a Canadian legal battle has shed some light on its practices, including its alleged work to counter anti-Israel BDS activities.

Other BDS supporters report having received an email in September 2017 from the email address admin@outlawbds warning them:


“Be aware that you have been identified as a BDS promoter. Moreover, the state and its agencies will no longer engage in business or hire these organizations and individuals as they have been deemed problematic and anti-American. You have been marked. You have been identified. You have a limited window of opportunity to cease and desist or face the consequences of your actions in legal proceedings. The Times of Israel was told by multiple sources that Psy-Group worked to counter BDS activists — and is one of several such firms, set up by or employing former Israeli intelligence operatives, that do so.

Act.IL was developed to curb online outrage over Israel’s 2014 war against Palestinians in Gaza. According to a UN report, 2,251 Palestinians were killed, including 1,462 civilians; 67 Israeli soldiers and 6 Israeli civilians also died.
Hundreds of Israeli students joined a digital “war room” to spam social media with pro-Israel content.
Expert Katie Joseff said the governments of Ecuador, Russia, Turkey, and the Philippines have used similar methods to spread propaganda.

The smartphone app and website Act.IL was developed by former Israeli intelligence officers in collaboration with the Israeli government. The founder and CEO of Act.IL, Yarden Ben Yosef, is a former army intelligence officer who is in regular contact with the country's military and intelligence establishment. Act.IL is largely staffed by former intelligence officers.
Once logged in to Act.IL, users are presented with a series of “missions” they can take part in to "get cool prizes”.

In early August, Israel carried out airstrikes in the Gaza Strip. This was followed by an online campaign, on dozens of prominent media outlets, organized through Act.IL with financial backing from the main Republican funder Sheldon Adelson.
The mission following the August airstrikes on Gaza asked users to “take action for Israel” by liking comments on the Facebook pages of 24 international news outlets so that they become the top comments, “the first ones that readers see!”.

After a user posted similar comments on the Facebook pages of CNN International, Canada’s Global News, Iran’s PressTV, and Nigeria’s Channels Television; Act.IL online trolls made hers among the most-liked comments on all 5 news organisations’ Facebook posts.
Nancy Saada got the top comment on the New York Times page and several others. Several of these comments are from current employees of Act.IL, paid astroturfers.

After Lana Del Rey said she would perform in Israel despite objections from Palestinian activists, Act.IL users supported her online. When about a month later she cancelled the performance, a new mission encouraged Act.IL users to like a Facebook comment that expressed disappointment that the performance had been politicised.

In July, after the Israeli parliament passed the racist “nation state” law, Palestinian-American student Hamzeh Daoud, posted an angry Facebook status in which he physically threatened Zionists who praised Israel. Act.IL encouraged its users to post online and send letters to send to his university leaders to get the student fired.
In another instance earlier this year, the Act.IL app joined an effort against student leaders at George Washington University who voted in favour of a resolution that called for a boycott of companies that do business in Israel. Yesterday, Karl Racine, attorney general of the District of Columbia, filed a court case against Facebook for violating the privacy of 340,000 residents. The district attorney said the maximum penalty is $5,000 "per violation". It is not clear what a single violation is, according to the law, but it means that Facebook could face a fine of up to $1.7 billion (for Columbia alone).
Predictably Facebook’s shares took a plunge after this news hit the press.

In 2013, Facebook allowed Aleksandr Kogan, and his Global Science Research (GSR), affiliated with England's Cambridge University, to launch an app on Facebook called "thisisyourdigitallife". The app offered to generate a personality profile in exchange for access to their Facebook data. Although only 852 Facebook users in Columbia installed Kogan's app, it also collected information on all of their Facebook friends who didn’t give permission — amounting to nearly half of all its residents.
GSR sold the information to Cambridge Analytica, which used it in the 2016 presidential campaigns to target voters.

In 2010/11, the MoD hired SCL for £40,000 for “training”.

Report: Cohen Hired Tech Firm to Try to Rig Polls for Trump and Create “Women for Cohen” Fan Account

An internet technology firm has publicly accused President Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen of failing to pay for services meant to help the Trump campaign, the Wall Street Journal (https://www.wsj.com/articles/poll-rigging-for-trump-and-creating-womenforcohen-one-it-firms-work-order-11547722801) reported Thursday.
According to the Journal, Cohen had hired John Gauger, who owns the small tech firm RedFinch Solutions LLC and is chief information officer at Liberty University, to try to manipulate two online polls as Trump was preparing to enter the 2016 presidential race. According to the report, Cohen agreed to pay Gauger $50,000 but failed to produce the full amount. Gauger’s account of the payment is a strange one:
In his Trump Organization office, Mr. Cohen surprised [Gauger] by giving him a blue Walmart bag containing between $12,000 and $13,000 in cash and, randomly, a boxing glove that Mr. Cohen said had been worn by a Brazilian mixed-martial arts fighter…


Earlier on, in 2014, Cohen had also asked Gauger to help Trump do well in a CNBC online poll ranking the country’s top business leaders. According to the Journal, Gauger was hired to write a computer script to repeatedly vote for Trump. He failed to land Trump in the top 100.

As part of their agreement, Cohen also asked Gauger to create a Twitter account called “@WomenForCohen (https://twitter.com/WomenForCohen),” which was opened in 2016 and shared enthusiastic messages about Cohen’s character and appearance, and it promoted Cohen’s appearances and statements supporting Trump. The account’s profile currently reads: “Women who love and support Michael Cohen. Strong, pit bull, sex symbol, no nonsense, business oriented, and ready to make a difference!”
For this work, according to the Journal, Cohen promised and was reimbursed $50,000 by the Trump Organization, largely with funds from the president’s personal account. President Trump’s former top lawyer paid Liberty University’s chief information officer to manipulate online polls in an effort to raise Trump’s profile before his successful presidential campaign, The Wall Street Journal reported (https://www.wsj.com/articles/poll-rigging-for-trump-and-creating-womenforcohen-one-it-firms-work-order-11547722801) on Thursday. The news shows a deeper relationship than previously reported between the president and employees of the university, a private Christian institution located in Virginia and led by Jerry L. Falwell Jr., a prominent Trump ally.

The Liberty technology administrator, John Gauger, also created a Twitter account, @WomenForCohen, to promote the president’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, according to the Journal. “Strong, pit bull, sex symbol, no nonsense, business oriented, and ready to make a difference,” the account’s description read on Thursday.

In one post reviewed by The Chronicle, the @WomenForCohen account shared a photo of Cohen, Falwell, and his wife. “Love to see good #Christian people on board the #TrumpTrain #Liberty #Trump2016,” the account wrote. The Journal reported that a female friend of Gauger operated the @WomenForCohen account.

On 10 May, Facebook announced:
Today Facebook filed a lawsuit in California state court against Rankwave, a South Korean data analytics company that ran apps on the Facebook platform. Facebook was investigating Rankwave’s data practices in relation to its advertising and marketing services. Rankwave failed to cooperate with our efforts to verify their compliance with our policies, which we require of all developers using our platform.

Facebook has already suspended apps and accounts associated with Rankwave, and today’s suit asks the court to enforce the basic cooperation terms that Rankwave agreed to in exchange for the opportunity to operate apps on the platform.

By filing the lawsuit, we are sending a message to developers that Facebook is serious about enforcing our policies, including requiring developers to cooperate with us during an investigation.

Facebook has accused the South Korean Rankwave of using at least 30 apps to track and analyse comments and likes. Facebook demands $9.8 million for the value of the data and to cover the legal fees, Facebook also requested an injunction to prohibit Rankwave from accessing Facebook, to allow Facebook’s audit, and delete all Facebook data.
Rankwave is accused of misusing Facebook data, delaying to respond to a cease-and-desist order, lying about not violating Facebook policy and not using its apps since 2018 when they were still accessed in April 2019, and refusing to comply with a mandatory audit.

Rankwave had a consumer app that asked for consent to provide a "social influence score". Then it would pull data about Facebook activity like location checkins. Until 2015, this kind of app could also access the data on their Facebook friends.
Rankwave used the user data for targeted advertisements. If the location checkins showed checking into a baseball stadium, for example, Rankwave for a price would help clients target these with ads for baseball tickets.

Isn´t it strange that Rankwave was openly selling these services for years before Facebook took action? Only in January 2019, Facebook first asked Rankwave for proof it complied with its “policies”. After receiving no response, Facebook issued a cease-and-desist order in February.
According to Facebook, Rankwave has been illegally using this information since 2014, "for its own business purposes, which include providing consulting services to advertisers and marketing companies".
Would it simply be allowed if a company paid Facebook for this data to be used or only if Facebook sells the information itself?

Donald Trump and Barbara Walters have had an on-and-off friendship that goes back years. In 2009, they “rekindled” their friendship.
Walters is also in Jeffrey Epstein´s little black book, that´s close to Roy Cohn and Donald Trump is TV journalist.

Mega Group members were connected to the crime network of Jewish mobster Meyer Lansky.
Hedge fund manager Michael Steinhardt, revealed that his father, Sol “Red McGee” Steinhardt, was Lansky’s associate and a major player in New York’s criminal scene.

Ronald Lauder is the billionaire heir to the Estee Lauder cosmetics fortune, and was another client and friend of Roy Cohn. Lauder is also the president of the World Jewish Congress.
Lauder has been close to Donald Trump since at least the early 1970s, when both attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Lauder was also close to Epstein’s only known client, Leslie Wexner.
In 1983, Ronald Lauder became US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO Affairs. Soon after his appointment, he served on the Dinner Tribute Committee for the Zionist organisation B’nai B’rith (parent organisation of the Anti-Defamation League, ADL) in Roy Cohn’s honor. In 2015, Ehud Barak and Epstein formed a company, now called Carbyne, to invest in the Israel-based Reporty that sells its software to 911 call centers and emergency service providers with access to a caller’s camera, location and checks the caller’s identity against any linked government database. It has been marketed as a “solution” to mass shootings.
Epstein “loaned” Carbyne´s chairman Barak millions to invest in Carbyne. Major Trump donor Peter Thiel is a Carbyne investor.

Banks’ ties to Kentish and STM go back to at least 2004, when Kentish became a founding director of Southern Rock. Banks invested in STM and became its largest shareholder before selling his stake in early 2015. More recently, Kentish, Banks and another STM founder invested in Legal Protection Group, a broker of insurance for lawyers and doctors.

ICS Risk Solutions, a holding company on the Isle of Man, pumped £77.7 million into Southern Rock to save it from collapse. Banks owned both ICS and Southern Rock; it is not clear where the money came from.

From 2014 to 2017, Sunley Family Limited has paid (only) £1.2 million tax on a profit of £15.7 million – an effective tax rate of 7.6%.
The UK tax for dividends over £150,000 is 38%.

In the early 1990s, 40% of Sunley’s shares were transferred to 2 companies in tax havens – Sunciera Holdings Corporation (in Panama) and Shuttlecock Holdings Limited (in the British Virgin Islands). Because of secrecy rules, it is impossible to discover the identities of the companies’ owners.
Over the past 4 years, Sunley paid its shareholders £5.5 million in dividends – of which at least £2.7 million to Panama and the British Virgin Islands, exempt from UK tax. Panama has only a 5% tax on dividends and the British Virgin Islands 0.

In the year ending December 2015, a £5 million loan from parent company Sunciera suggests that profit generated in the UK by Sunley was transferred to Panama and then reinvested into the UK-registered company. This isn’t illegal, but maybe should be (especially when the owners of the companies aren´t even known)...
Tice has denied knowing about this deal and involvement in either company (even though he and his family are majority shareholders in Sunley).

Richard Tice has also denied to know who is behind Sunciera and Shuttlecock, which control a 42% stake in his family Sunley business.
According to John Christensen, the company directors should know who they are dealing with “otherwise you could be dealing with money launderers. You have to do due diligence”.

In another strange twist, Tice sits on the European Parliament's Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee to implement tax, money laundering legislation!

Maybe the most interesting swindler that helped Romney become rich through Bain Capital, is junk-bond king Michael R. Milken.
In 1988, Milken’s firm Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc helped Mitt Romney with junk-bond financing to turn a mere $10 million investment into a $175 million profit for himself, his partners and his investors. This profit was made by looting Bealls Brothers and Palais Royal that were left bankrupted with $444 million in debt.
This would make Romney rich and would later be used to finance the start of his career in politrics.

When Romney made this deal, in September 1988, the Securities and Exchange Commission filed a complaint against Milken and Drexel for insider trading and stock manipulation. Even though this was widely known, Romney didn’t mind being tainted by this scandal because he found the profits more important.
Milken’s fraud case was heard by US District Judge Milton Pollack, whose wife, Moselle, was chairwoman of Palais Royal, who could gain millions in Bain’s deal.
Drexel pleaded guilty to 6 criminal counts of securities and mail fraud, paying $650 million in fines and would serve 22 months in prison. By 1990, Drexel was bankrupt.

Bain partners continued to serve on the board and took the company, Stage Stores, public in October 1996, at $16.50 a share. Bain sold some of its shares in the low $30s and by September 1997 sold the rest at nearly $35 per share.

It’s interesting that the companies - that manipulate, swing voters – are all tied together (can somebody find the ties to the Democrats?) represent several politicians. Their influence becomes even larger with a world-wide control of elections…

One of the main things I try to do is connect dots between all of these one-sided stories in the media…
I’ve found a story on the bizarre amount of similar companies like SCL, Cambridge Analytica that are all connected.

Before Cambridge Analytica (the best known subsidiary of the SCL Group) worked on Donald Trump’s campaign it was working “for” his most important adversary Ted Cruz…
Cambridge Analytica also worked for John Bolton (these days Trump’s National Security Adviser).
Cambridge Analytica was paid more than $18 million in the 2016 presidential election, including $5,805,551 from Ted Cruz, $5,912,500 from Make America Number 1, which supported “both” Cruz and Trump, and (only) $3,812,546 from the Donald J Trump For President PAC.
The majority of the majority of funds during the Trump campaign was not paid to Cambridge Analytica but to Giles Parscale — a whopping $93 million. FEC reporting does not require Giles Parscale to disclose where these funds were spent.
Giles Parscale was founded by Brad Parscale and Jill Giles. Brad Parscale hired Eric Trump’s wife, Lara Trump, as senior political consultant.

In January 2017, after Trump’s inauguration, several of his top campaign team members - Brad Parscale, Rick Gates, 2 campaign advisers to VP Mike Pence (Nick Ayers and Marty Obst), Katrina Pierson and Steve Bannon colleague David Bossie – started America First Policies to promote Trump’s agenda.
In August 2017, Brad Parscale sold his web marketing company to CloudCommerce for $9 million and received shares in the company and now sits on its board of directors.
In February 2018, Matt Oczkowski, former Head of Product at Cambridge Analytica, started Data Propria that is fully owned by CloudCommerce. At least 4 former Cambridge Analytica employees work for Data Propria.
In March 2018, Trump announced that Brad Parscale (the digital media director of his 2016 campaign) will run his 2020 campaign.

Vincent Harris (Harris Media) was a sub-contractor for Parscale. Harris has also worked for Rand Paul, Sarah Pail, Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, and the Likud Party in Israel.

In August 2017, Julian Wheatland and Alexander Nix created Emerdata Limited that raised $19 million in January 2018, the month that Ahmed Al Khatib, Cheng Peng, and Johnson Chun Shun Ko joined its board of directors. Chun Shun is a business partner of Erik Prince (the brother of Trump’s education secretary Betsy DeVos) in Frontier Services Group.
Rebekah and Jennifer Mercer, who are overseeing the US bankruptcy filings of Cambridge Analytica, joined the board of Emerdata in March 2018.

Kirsten Fontenrose worked at SCL when it obtained a $490,000 contract with the US State Department. In 2007, Fontenrose had worked for US-based military contractor Archimedes that hired SCL group for a surveillance operation in Yemen.
In March 2018, Fontenrose became Trump’s National Security Council senior director for Gulf Affairs.

In 2013, AggregateIQ was set up in Canada by Christopher Wylie’s former boss Jeff Silvester with Zack Massingham. Massingham’s phone number was listed on the website of SCL Canada.

In 2014, Alexander Kogan (who changed his name to Alexander Spectre), Joseph Chancellor and Alexander Slinger established Global Science Research Limited (GSR). GSM was hired the get the Facebook data to manipulate the 2016 presidential election by Cambridge Analytica.
In October 2017, Alexander Kogan/Spectre also created Philometrics.
In March 2018, Alexander Nix and Alexander Tayler established Firecrest Technologies Limited.

In 2014, Sam Patten worked at the Oregon office of SCL Group. In 2015, Patten and Konstantin Kilimnik created Begemot Ventures.
Kilimnik was Paul Manafort’s business associate and a suspected Russian intelligence agent, who was indicted by “special” cover-up artist Robert Mueller.

In May 2016, Tadas Jucikas and Brent Clickard, who worked with Christopher Wylie at SCL Elections, founded GeniusAI.

In October 2017, SCL Social Limited was hired by London-based PR firm Project Associates for approximately $330,000 for the UAE against Qatar media campaign.
Project Associates has other interesting clients, including Andrey Yakunin, the son of sanctioned Russian oligarch of Vladimir Yakunin (an associate of Putin who ran Russian Railways).

In August 2016, Erik Prince introduced Psy-Group founder Joel Zamel to Donald Trump Jr. at Trump Tower. George Nader, who had worked for Prince at Blackwater, attended the meeting with Stephen Miller. Nader said that “the princes who led Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were eager to help his father [Donald Sr.] win election as president”.
Zamel was affiliated with an internet company based in the Philippines, WhiteKnight, which George Nader worked with.

Black Cube’s work for Harvey Weinstein was signed by lawyer David Boies. In 2012, Boies represented the former president of Blackwater, Gary Jackson.
The city of Almaty, Kazakhstan sued Mukhtar Ablyazov and Ilyas and Viktor Kharpunov - former business associates of the long-time friend of Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen, Felix Sater - for stealing billions of dollars from BTA Bank and Almaty. The Kharpunovs were represented by Black Cube.

West Face Capital alleged that business rival Catalyst Capital Group hired Psy-Group and Black Cube to defame West Face using shady methods.

In 2010, “crowdsourced consulting firm” (what is that?) Wikistrat was founded in Israel by Joel Zamel and Daniel Green. In 2015, the UAE hired Wikistrat to conduct war game scenarios on political movements in Yemen.
Michael Flynn corrected his financial disclosure form to include that he worked with SCL Group. Cambridge Analytica hired Josh Weerasinghe, who had previously worked with Flynn at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Joel Zamel asked former national security adviser Michael Flynn to be a member of Wikistrat’s advisory board. Zamel was introduced to Flynn by Bijan Kian.

In August 2016, Tim Newberry was chief executive of FIG Cyber (part of the Flynn Intel Group), who co-founded White Canvas and VizSense with Jon Iadonisi.
Iadonisi was also close to Flynn; they served together in Iraq, and Flynn Intel Group rented office space from White Canvas.
Jon Iadonisi was supposedly working on the Ekim Alptekin, Inovo BV contract for the Turkish government. Or was Ioadonisi really doing social media work on behalf of Trump?

The Trump campaign paid $200,000 for “data management services” to Colt Ventures, that invested in Iadonisi’s social media company VizSense. Colt Ventures was founded by Darren Blanton, an adviser on Trump’s transition.
Blanton frequently met Steve Bannon. Steve Bannon introduced Bruce Carter to Darren Blanton and Jon Iadonisi to help provide funding and social media support for his work in 3 areas, Florida, Philadelphia, and North Carolina.

Nader, with Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja, has also been charged with laundering more than $3.5 million in foreign campaign donations from March 2016 to January 2017, including the 2016 presidential campaign.

And once again a Trump-Clinton link, Nader reportedly donated (part or all of?) this money to Clinton’s campaign.
In August 2016, Khawaja co-hosted a 2016 fundraiser for Clinton, with attendees like Haim Saban, Magic Johnson and Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Nader was a liaison between Trump‘s team and Mohammed bin Zayed, crown prince of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
In August 2016, Nader and Joel Zamel met with Donald Trump Jr. to offer help to Trump‘s campaign with Blackwater founder Erik Prince.

One of the groups Broidy worked with was the non-profit Secure America Now (SAN), promoted as the largest national security digital platform in the USA. The president of SAN is Allen Roth, chief political adviser of Ronald Lauder. The Board of Directors of SAN included Mike Huckabee and Donald’s dismissed National Security Adviser John Bolton.
Ronald Lauder donated $1.1 million to SAN, while its biggest donor with $2 million, was Robert Mercer (also the biggest funder of Cambridge Analytica). The Board of Directors of the Ron Lauder, Elliott Broidy affiliated Secure America Now (SAN) that worked on the 2016 Trump campaign, included John Bolton and Mike Huckabee.
Dick Morris, who has worked for Bill Clinton, advised Huckabee on his campaigns in 1993, 1994, and 1998. Mike Huckabee’s daughter, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, was President Donald's White House Press Secretary for 2 years.
In January 2018, Huckabee praised Doha, Qatar as "surprisingly beautiful, modern, and hospitable". Mike Huckabee forgot to mention that Qatar had paid him $50,000 as an "honorarium".


Nader was an adviser to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of Abu Dhabi (MBZ, of the UAE) for years.

George Nader has also worked as a business agent in Iraq for the private military contractor Blackwater, owned by Erik Prince (the brother of Donald’s Education Secretary Betsy DeVos).
Since Erik Prince arranged the meeting between Joel Zamel, Nader and Trump’s team on 3 August 2016, George Nader frequently met Jared Kushner, Mike Flynn and Steve Bannon.
Nader and Prince were also discussing a plan to get $2 billion from the Saudis for a private army to fight against Yemen.

After Trump was elected president, Nader paid Zamel a large sum of money, $2 million.
After Donald’s inauguration, Zamel and Nader met Kushner and Bannon at the White House, supposedly promoting a plan to sabotage Iran. Nader advocated this project to American, Emirati and Saudi officials, estimated at a cost of about $300 million.

After Broidy donated $189,000 to the RNC on 30 November, George Nader was allowed to be photographed backstage with president Donald.

Zamel has also worked for the Emirati royal court as a consultant.
In December 2016, Nader again hired an internet company linked to Zamel — WhiteKnight, based in the Philippines.

The SCL Group (Strategic Communication Laboratories, the parent company of Cambridge Analytica) was also working with the Palantir of Trump supporter Peter Thiel. Palantir has government contracts all over the world – including GCHQ and the NSA.

Cambridge Analytica has contacted Jamie McCauley from Robert Thomson News Corp office (controlled by Rupert Murdoch) to publish an article in the Wall Street Journal.

Invoices show that Advanced Skills Institute (a.k.a. ASI Data Science) did the modelling for Vote Leave.

On 25 November 2019, the Privacy Commissioner of Canada Daniel Therrien and his counterpart in British Columbia, Mike McEvoy, released a report about AggregateIQ violating the privacy of British voters during the Vote Leave campaign:
When the company used and disclosed the personal information of Vote Leave supporters to Facebook... it went beyond the purposes for which Vote Leave had consent to use that information.

The report also noted that AggregateIQ had probably had violated privacy laws in its work on the campaigns in the US (including Ted Cruz and Donald Trump).

In 2008, according to a Wikileaks cable Taruta, a close ally of politician Yulia Tymoshenko at the time, played a role in the sale of a majority stake of a $2 billion valued steel group in the Ukraine. For some reason, Taruta wanted to keep the deal “hidden from public view”.

Serhiy Taruta was present at the 11th annual Yalta European Stategy meeting organised by Victor Pinchuk. In 2014, Taruta was appointed governor of Donetsk and was a Ukrainian MP.

I'd just finished Saturday morning's second cup of coffee when an email popped through, subject line: "Exposing Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman."
"Hi Nancy, I hope you are having a nice weekend. I feel very bad about lying to you and others about Dr. Fauci. I took it upon myself to call Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman and record them (see attached)… Many thanks and again, I feel very bad about all this. I apologize to you, the other reporters and Dr. Fauci."
The writer of the email identified herself as Diana Andrade. I had never before emailed with Andrade, but had spoken with her 10 days earlier, when I knew her as "Diana Rodriguez." At that time, Rodriguez alleged that when she was 20 years old, in 2014, she'd been sexually assaulted by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and one of the most visible faces in the government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For those lucky enough to be unfamiliar with the exploits of Wohl and Burkman, they are pro-Trump provocateurs who've found a niche drumming up fake sexual harassment allegations that end comically badly, including against former FBI Director Robert Mueller (who turned out to have been serving jury duty the day he was supposed to have committed the assault) and Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren (the press conference for which took place on Burkman's stoop, and whose supposed victim was a 24-year-old Marine).*

Facebook sued over Cambridge Analytica data scandal

Facebook is being sued for failing to protect users' personal data in the Cambridge Analytica breach.

The scandal involved harvested Facebook data of 87 million people being used for advertising during elections.

Mass legal action is being launched against Facebook for misuse of information from almost one million users in England and Wales.

Facebook said it has not received any documents regarding this claim.

The group taking action - Facebook You Owe Us - follows a similar mass action law suit against Google.

Google You Owe Us (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-42166089), led by former Which? director Richard Lloyd, is also active for another alleged mass data breach.

Both represented by law firm Millberg London, the Google case is being heard in the Supreme Court in April next year.

The Facebook case will argue that by taking data without consent, the firm failed to meet their legal obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998.

It should be noted that in August, gambling tycoon Sheldon Adelson, one of the largest donors to Trump and the Republican Party, and a strong supporter of Israel's right-wing, also mentioned a conversation he had with Catz about her meeting with McMaster.

Adelson wrote an email on that subject to Mort Klein, the president of the Zionist Organization of America, one of the most right-wing groups in the U.S. Jewish community. In that email, Adelson told Klein that he supports a campaign launched by ZOA calling for McMaster's resignation, due to his positions regarding Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, the Iran nuclear deal and other Middle East policy issues.
Adelson explained that he was at first skeptical about ZOA's campaign against McMaster, but had changed his mind after speaking to Safra Catz. The conversation with Catz, Adelson wrote, "enlightened me quite a bit." He added that following his conversation with Catz, "I now support your effort" to get McMaster out of the White House.

The ZOA campaign against McMaster took place at the same time that far-right websites and Twitter accounts in the U.S. spread stories alleging that McMaster had expressed anti-Israeli opinions and yelled at Israeli officials.

The allegations against McMaster began appearing a short time after he fired a number of people from the National Security Council who were appointed by his predecessor, Michael Flynn, and who were considered close to Trump's extremist political adviser, Steve Bannon. Over the weekend it was revealed Israel's ambassador to the U.S., Ron Dermer, hosted Bannon for dinner over the summer. Dermer called Bannon "a great friend of Israel."
One of those fired by McMaster was Ezra Cohen, a former intelligence officer who was appointed by Flynn to a senior position in the NSC. McMaster tried to get rid of Cohen, whom he considered not qualified for his position, for a number of months, but was reportedly blocked by Bannon. He finally managed to fire Cohen only after John Kelly became Trump's chief of staff in the summer. In September, the website "Just Security" reported that Cohen landed a job at Oracle after being dismissed from the White House by McMaster.

McMaster was often painted as someone more loyal to the country than the president, and so a glamorous Texas journalist, Tarah Price, was paid $10,000 to try to seduce him into revealing information at a DC Italian restaurant he was known to frequent, according to a report in the New York Times.
Another woman, a Russian-born pro poker player and former contestant on the television program Survivor, Anna Khait, was tasked with seducing State Department employees into admitting, on fake dates, filmed undercover, that they disliked Trump and wanted to thwart him.

If the story is not vetted, why post it? This is the tactic of inB4, and it is used by scoundrels to establish first impressions that are endlessly difficult to supersede with truth. First-in tends to be the winner. We have all witnessed this countless times. Think of the endless list of reputations ruined by headlines declaring someone guilty of some heinous act, only to be later exonerated. Makes no matter - far too many will always associate the individual with guilt. This is the proclivity of the human brain. The only way to fight it is with a strong will, which most people do not possess because it is too much work. Mean humanity is mentally exhausted and people just don't want to invest the effort to be better men. "Oh fuck it" is the modern mantra, however tacit. Can't win, so why try? Why care?

Next: do we not find the timing suspiciously convenient for a "left" that knows it will get its ass handed to it in November, all else equal? The coming election must be vigorously massaged or the Democrats are toast - or so it appears. They're going for the brass ring now, playing no games. They are drowning us in noise of every sort in order to disrupt the mind into some degree of impotence. And in the chaos of noise, election shenanigans become so much more difficult to detect.

The left fears Trump's return to office in '24, though I'm not quire sure why. After all, his most crucial campaign promise was left wholly unfulfilled: draining the swamp. Trump may be a good wheeler-dealer, but he sucks at staffing a cabinet and assessing in whom he may safely vest his trust. OTOH, it might not even be his fault. Were it to prove that the corruption is so uttterly pervasive that there were no real choices, I would not be surprised.

His only real move, anyone's only move if draining the swamp is a serious goal, would be to declare martial law, dissolve Congress, arrest the likes of Pelosi, McConnell, and Schumer, send them to Gitmo, hold drum-head trials, and execute the lot of them, preferably in one afternoon. But even that hail Mary move is rife and rotten with the worst hazards imaginable, which I doubt I need to list. But this is really the only option now. The people are de-balled by their own hands and the "government" cannot be trusted to tell us water is wet.

Then the criminals of the past must be hunted and given even treatment. Paul Ryan comes immediately to mind, and I am sure there are countless others. The hazards of corruption must vastly outstrip the potential payoffs, and that should include destruction of a violator's family. I have no problem whatsoever in seeing such things done. If you want to bear the mantle of public trust, you must be impeccable in your knowledge, ability, and integrity, or else your family is forfeit - whether it means generations of forced penury, life in a cell, or execution. I no longer care - we as a presumably free people can no longer afford to be compassionate toward those holding any political position whatsoever. The political class must perforce be regarded and treated differently - as readily expendable in the event of even the least unamended violation. You take the mantle, your rights are suspended and everyone of your blood must share in your punishments. That hazard alone would keep most on the straight and narrow. The few true psychopaths/nitwits who still manage... well, bye bye kids. Thank mom or dad for your misfortunes. They were warned. I'd also think that family pressure would be high to tell mom or dad to forget about holding office, or to walk the narrow path of righteous public service to the point of wearing clear vinyl suits to best demonstrate they've nothing up their sleeves or pant legs. Terror is the only thing they will respect, including the spectre of their genetic lines being euthanized into oblivion.

It's pretty rough stuff, but it must be so. I have no trouble at all with any of it, including euthanizing their children. Without real teeth, measures hold no hope of sufficient effect.
