President Donald Trump (https://www.cnbc.com/donald-trump/) seemed to threaten to pull U.S. (https://www.cnbc.com/united-states/) troops out of South Korea (https://www.cnbc.com/south-korea/) if he didn't get his way on trade with Seoul, The Washington Post reported (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2018/03/14/in-fundraising-speech-trump-says-he-made-up-facts-in-meeting-with-justin-trudeau/?utm_term=.5b59fb348d21) Wednesday.
"We have a very big trade deficit with them, and we protect them," Trump said Wednesday in a fundraising speech — an audio recording of which was obtained by the Post.
"We lose money on trade, and we lose money on the military. We have right now 32,000 soldiers between North and South Korea. Let's see what happens," Trump said.
