Kevin Rector, a crime reporter for the Baltimore Sun Newspaper, recorded Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh on Tuesday outside City Hall, shouting through a bullhorn to several hundred zombified students, of how she wants to provide 60 taxpayer-funded buses - to send more than 3,000 students to the March For Our Lives rally in Washington, D.C., scheduled for March 24.

BREAKING: Baltimore @MayorPugh50 (https://twitter.com/MayorPugh50?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) says the city is organizing 60 free buses to send students to DC for the march against gun violence later this month. Says “let’s show Washington DC that Baltimore matters.” Wants 3,000 city students there. Will be providing lunches and t-shirts. pic.twitter.com/g4QIoS9baA (https://t.co/g4QIoS9baA)

“We are providing at least 60 buses so that our students from our city can take their voices to Washington D.C. so that they can hear what we have to say,” Pugh said while standing next to the new Baltimore City Police Commissioner Darryl De Sousa. “We believe as you believe, that there should be no guns…”

Earlier in the day, hundreds of Baltimore school students walked out of their classrooms onto the most dangerous streets in America, where the per capita homicide rate (https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-12-21/baltimore-murder-rate-surges-again-2017-now-tied-venezuela-heres-how-your-city-fare) is on par with Venezuela, a country that is currently experiencing economic collapse.

Wasn't that the city where they recently discovered that their cops were killing unarmed people and planting toy guns on them? yeah, model city that is.

Wouldn't it be more environmentally friendly and less of a strain on the system equipment to put them on one train?

Or are they afraid these people can't make the walk from Washington Union Station to the Mall?

I find it bizarre that a city of 622,000 with two rail systems has at least sixty more buses than they have use for. Who pays for that? Surely a significant portion of it has been federal funds. Why are we all buying Pugh an oversized fleet of often-idle equipment, again? I forgot.

Oh, yeah. So it can be used for overtly partisan political rallies.

As one who resides within the trash heap masquerading as the People's Republic of Maryland, I only request this thief read the following:

Your city is probably the greatest dollar-total tax drain on the state as a whole; as such, that which you've plundered from me is going to fund that which I morally - and vigorously - oppose.

Get off your sassy fat ass and fund it yourself, if it's so fucking important to you. Otherwise, if you can't, stay the fuck out of my pocket!

It is important to remember steps in the failed american experiment 1) colonists unhappy with taxes 2) colonists take over then raise taxes 3) level of retardation rises dramatically when large groups of people are housed in close proximity ( large cities ) .

Won't be surprised if the mayor got free membership for life in Trump's country club as gratitude for his/her bold leadership and standing up to NRA.
So much winning.

As you travel from South to North, Baltimore is the first city on the "places that used to be somewhere" list.

Most people don't know this, but none other than Tim Kaine, erstwhile vice-presidential candidate under the witch, did this while in office in Virginia.
He got called out on it and was looking down the barrel of actually getting charged for using commonwealth funds for political activism.
He returned the money to the treasury, but to this day, still doesn't see anything wrong with what he did.

I sure hope they don't let this crazy broad off for it the way they did with Kaine. I mean, supposing there actually is some sort of rule in Maryland that says it's inappropriate.
The only way these thieving tyrants will stop doing this is if one of them goes to prison.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan called for Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh to step down because she has lost the “public’s trust” shortly after FBI and IRS agents raided her home Thursday as part of an investigation into sales of a children’s book she authored.

“Now more than ever, Baltimore City needs strong and responsible leadership. Mayor Pugh has lost the public trust. She is clearly not fit to lead. For the good of the city, Mayor Pugh must resign,” the governor wrote on Twitter.

Hogan, a Republican, noted in another posting that he directed the state’s prosecutor on April 1 to begin a probe into Pugh’s “questionable dealings” with a university health care provider.

Besides Hogan, the Baltimore City Council, Baltimore lawmakers in the House of Delegates and the Great Baltimore Committee, a business group, have called on Pugh, 69, to resign.

Along with Pugh’s home, the feds executed search warrants at the office of Pugh’s lawyer, Steven Silverman, City Hall, and the Maryland Center for Adult Training, whose job program Pugh once ran, the Baltimore Sun reported.

Pugh, a Democrat, took a leave of absence earlier this month as an investigation looked into sales of her book, “Healthy Holly,” to the University of Maryland Medical System when she was a board member.

The books were distributed to children in Baltimore schools.

The health provider paid $500,000 to buy 100,000 copies of the book from Pugh’s company, Healthy Holly LLC, in a no-bid arrangement between 2011 and 2018.

Pugh, 69, apologized that she had “done something to upset the people” and returned $100,000 to the health care system and canceled a book deal.

She also stepped down from the board.

Another health care provider, Kaiser Permanente, confirmed to the Baltimore Sun this month that it had paid Pugh $114,000 for 20 copies of her book between 2015 and 2018 while the company was trying to get a contract from the city.

Kaiser was awarded a $48 million contract in 2017 to provide health benefits to city workers by a spending board on which Pugh sits.

Silverman and Pugh did not respond to requests for comment from the Baltimore Sun.

Julia Beck, a lesbian activist who was booted from an LGBTQ commission started by Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh, expressed her concerns about the transgender movement's harmful effects on women and girls during an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday night.

Beck was thrown off the commission in October after identifying a transgender rapist as male, his correct biological sex, though he "identifies" as a woman.

Baltimore Mayor Pugh not 'lucid' enough to decide on resignation, per attorney; choice may come next week

https://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2019/04/25/catherine-pugh-meeting-with-legal-team/

April 25, 2019

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh continued to stay out of the spotlight Thursday, as federal agents raided her homes and several businesses.

Pugh was home at the time the FBI and IRS began their raid around 7 a.m. After the feds left, Pugh met with her legal team.

An earlier report said she may have been trying to get out of town, but attorney Steve Silverman spoke to WJZ outside her home Thursday and said the mayor is physically ill and emotionally saddened. He said she apologized for letting down the people of Baltimore with any appearance of wrongdoing.

However Silverman did not address whether Pugh would resign, only saying he was discussing her options with her.

According to Silverman, Pugh is not mentally or physically able to make any decisions.

Neighbors tell WJZ they haven’t seen her in weeks. They believe she splits her time between two homes in Baltimore.

Michelle Hopkins is from Park Heights, where the Maryland Center for Adult Training was raided by FBI agents Thursday morning.

“Until you get regular people in there that’s gonna do their job the right way, then that’s when our city is gonna get it right.

1121443724637163520

They joined several city and state officials to call for her resignation.

“I’m glad she’s gone, I hope she do go,” said Penn North resident Marcus Alston.

“I think she should resign,” said Libby Cole.

The city is now into the fourth week of Pugh on indefinite leave and silence is surrounding Baltimore’s top offices. Pugh’s aides have gone silent on status updates, declining to comment on her health this week- as questions linger on when, or if, she plans to return to work.

Meanwhile, dominos continue to fall inside Baltimore City Hall on Tuesday, as acting Mayor Jack Young stayed tight-lipped on his recent decision to place a seventh Pugh staffer on leave of absence.

“I’m committed to stabilizing the city and moving forward, and any changes I need to make, I will make them,” Young said.

The move heightens questions still surrounding Mayor Pugh’s lucrative Healthy Holly book deals with UMMS that coincided with her own indefinite leave as she battles pneumonia.

In an interview with WYPR on Tuesday, the acting mayor Jack Young said, “I haven’t spoken to her in two and a half weeks. I haven’t heard from her. I have no idea other than what I read in the paper,”

Two online petitions also pressure Pugh to step down, including one led by state Republican Party official Tony Campbell.

Young has not said whether he thinks Mayor Pugh should resign.

“It is embarrassing for the city of Baltimore, it’s embarrassing we’re on the national news for this whole episode I would call it,” Young said Thursday.

The City Council passed new ethics laws Monday night, including one that deals with financial disclosures.
