* A2758 (http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2018/Bills/A3000/2758_I1.HTM), which would strictly define New Jersey's "justifiable need" standard for handgun carry permits, making it tougher for anyone to get permission to carry a handgun unless they can show they face a specific threat to their own safety. Root - Only cops, judges and other politico's get carry permits. I've heard rumors there's less than 2000 CCW permits for a state of 9 million.

This will be fast tracked through the legislature and passed into law. My guess is before the end of April.
