For what it is worth, more Russia stuff...

Richard Gates, Donald Trump (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/donald-trump.htm)’s one-time campaign aide, plead guilty Friday to two felony counts: conspiracy against the U.S. and lying to federal authorities.Gates is the latest person in the Trump campaign's orbit to face charges in the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential contest.
The conspiracy, prosecutors say, spans from 2006 to 2017 and involved more than $75 million that flowed through offshore accounts.
Gates is accused of aiding former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/us/paul-manafort.htm) in obtaining money from those offshore accounts. Like Manafort, Gates used money from offshore accounts to pay for his personal expenses, including his mortgage (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/business/real-estate/mortgages.htm), children’s tuition, and interior decorating of his Virginia residence.
Prosecutors say Gates also lied to the special counsel’s office on Feb. 1 when he said that Manafort denied to him that Ukraine was discussed at a March 2013 meeting with a lobbyist and member of Congress.
According to the charging document, Manafort never denied that to Gates and he helped Manafort prepare a report referencing Ukraine after the meeting.
“Notwithstanding that Rick Gates pled today, I continue to maintain my innocence. I had hoped and expected my business colleague would have had the strength to continue the battle to prove our innocence. For reasons yet to surface he chose to do otherwise," Manafort said in a statement. "This does not alter my commitment to defend myself against the untrue piled up charges contained in the indictments against me.”
This is a developing story. Please refresh for details.

Is Trump being isolated ?

Seems like everyone close to him is either left or soon leaving White House or subject of investigation.

(CNN)Glenn Selig, spokesman for Trump campaign adviser Rick Gates, was killed in the weekend Kabul hotel attack, according to a statement from spokesperson for The Publicity Agency and Selig Multimedia Inc., his Florida-based companies.

Four Americans were killed in the attack on the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul, according to the US State Department.
"The United States strongly condemns the attack on January 20 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul. We can confirm that there were four US citizens killed and two injured. We offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who were killed and wish for the speedy recovery of those wounded. Out of respect for the families of the deceased, we have no further comment," State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said in a statement.
Selig represented Gates in recent months, as Gates faces criminal charges in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation. Selig also played a role in promoting a legal defense fund for Gates in December.
"Unfortunately, we have received confirmation Glenn Selig was killed during the attack on the Intercontinental Hotel," the Selig Multimedia representative said in the statement. "Glenn was a tireless professional, loyal friend and pillar of the community, but most importantly he was a loving husband and wonderful father.
