White House: Trump lawyers in favor of appointing second special counsel
Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah told reporters on Air Force One Monday that President Trump's attorneys
have already approved the idea of appointing a second special counsel to investigate the FBI and Justice Department's
actions during the 2016 presidential campaign, according to White House pool reports.
Shah also said that the White House will approach further memos, including the one created by Democrats,
in the same way they handled the memo authored by Devin Nunes:
"Which is to allow for a legal review, national security review led by the White House Counsel’s Office,
and then within five days the president will make a decision about declassifying it," said Shah.

Axios reported on Sunday that House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA), the author of the memo and an ally to the White House, may release as many as five more memos about supposed abuses and bias at the DOJ and FBI.
REVEALED: Devin Nunes might release five more memos that claim DOJ worked to undermine Trump
Axios reported on Sunday that sources close to Nunes’ investigations believe there may be as many as five more memos in the works, and may include journalists Sidney Blumenthal and Cody Shearer, both known associates to the Clinton family, as having colluded with the government to swing the election in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Rep. Jim Jordan: We Need Second Special Counsel From ‘Middle of the Country, Outside the Swamp’
Jordan, who has been a US Congressman for more than a decade and an elected official for over 20 years, then went on to claim that another special counsel needed to come from Middle America and not from the swamp of Washington.
“Don’t have it be someone from Washington — like [Robert] Mueller and his team, all of Washington insiders,” Jordan declared. “Have it be a judge — a retired federal judge from somewhere in the middle of to country, outside the swamp. Have them put together a team, then go do the investigation. Whatever conclusion they reach, I think there’s a much better chance the American people will accept that conclusion.”
While he didn’t call for the end of the Mueller investigation, Jordan concluded by listing off a number of FBI officials that are no longer in their jobs and stating that no bit of coordination has been found between the Trump campaign and Russia.

What do his personal attorneys have to do with that decision? Aren't they in charge of defending him from the first probe... Oh.

They are his legal advisors on EVERYTHING, and yes that includes defeating phony legalistic coup attempts as well.

As usual, no. There's a difference between the White House counsel and Trump's personal attorneys.

There is a difference but he can take legal advice from anyone he wants and he has employed them as legal advisors.
