The Des Moines Register’s presidential debates — the last debates before the Iowa caucuses — are this week. Republican candidates debate on Wednesday, and Democratic candidates debate on Thursday.

Both debates will be broadcast live at 1 p.m on Iowa Public Television, and replayed on IPTV at 7 p.m. each evening. The debates will also air live on CNN, C-SPAN3, Fox News Channel, C-SPAN Radio and Fox News Radio.

In addition, Iowans can watch the debate streaming live at DesMoinesRegister.com.

Carolyn Washburn, editor of The Des Moines Register, will moderate the debates, which will be held at Iowa Public Television Studios in Johnston, Iowa.

we're looking for undecided voters

The Register, as part of its coverage of the Republican and Democratic presidential debates on Dec. 12 and Dec. 13, will conduct post-debate interviews with undecided caucusgoers. If you are an undecided caucusgoer and would like to be interviewed for a newspaper article about your reaction to the televised debate for your respective party, please reply by e-mail to jroos@dmreg.com and provide the following information: First and last name, telephone number, address, age, occupation, and which caucus you plan to attend on Jan. 3 (Republican or Democratic).

If you are chosen to be interviewed, you will be notified in advance. On the night of the debate, a reporter will call you within minutes of its completion.

Attendance at the Register's debates is by invitation only. The Register is making any excess tickets available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. To put your name on the waiting list for tickets, please contact Erin Meade, emeade@dmreg.com.
