The Department of Justice has caved to pressure from the White House and is reportedly reopening the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.
According to the Daily Beast (https://www.thedailybeast.com/justice-department-looking-into-hillary-clintons-emails-again), there is a new effort in the department to get new details on how Clinton and her aides — including former top aide Huma Abedin — handled classified material. The effort will look at how much classified information was on her private email server, and how that information got there.

It's basically just a way to hard sell the idea of the devils bargain, its not even that though- its going to be carrot and stick. They want to sell the idea that the justice department can Trump state laws and they can start new wars for the low price of "putting hillary in jail" but they will probably go after someone like their IT guy or lawyer. They will never put Clinton in jail, at best they will put a patsy in jail.

I expect expendables being thrown under buses. and not much more.

I would be happy to be pleasantly surprised.. when that happens.

Republican Senator Releases Full Unedited Comey Memo Showing Clinton "Grossly Negligent"
As the document also shows, Comey's original statement was edited by subordinates to remove five separate references to terms like “grossly negligent” and to delete mention of evidence supporting felony and misdemeanor violations.
For example, as The Hill notes, (http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/367528-comeys-original-clinton-memo-released-cites-possible-violations) Comey originally wrote:

“Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statute proscribing gross negligence in the handling of classified information and of the statute proscribing misdemeanor mishandling, my judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”
That passage, however, was subsequently edited to remove the references to “gross negligence” and “misdemeanor mishandling,” leaving a much more generic reference to “potential violations of the statutes.”

"Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information."
Remarkably, though the original statement was written on May 6th 2016, Comey did not hold his infamous press conference until two months later... once all the edits were in.

As Senator Johnson exclaimed, "the edits to Director Comey’s public statement, made months prior to the conclusion of the FBI’s investigation of Secretary Clinton’s conduct, had a significant impact on the FBI’s public evaluation of the implications of her actions,” adding that...
"this effort, seen in light of the personal animus toward then-candidate Trump by senior agents leading the Clinton investigation and their apparent desire to create an ‘insurance policy’ against Mr. Trump’s election, raise profound questions about the FBI’s role and possible interference in the 2016 presidential election."

I know there will be intense public disagreement in the wake of this result, as there was throughout this investigation. What I can assure the American people is that this investigation was done competently, honestly, and independently. No outside influence of any kind was brought to bear. I know there were many opinions expressed by people who were not part of the investigation including people in government but none of that mattered to us. Opinions are irrelevant, and they were all uninformed by insight into our investigation, because we did the investigation in a professional way. Only facts matter, and the FBI found them here in an entirely apolitical and professional way.
I couldn’t be prouder to be part of this organization

Why some media calls it as if they are 'caving to pressure" from the White House . . . ?

All the evidence tampering now getting revealed is plenty of reason enough I would think
to dig into all this - for everyones understanding.

Hillary Clinton's chief of staff, John Podesta, received an email from an advisor (https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/45924) which brought up the phrase "gross negligence" in regards to the FBI's email investigation before the FBI agent in charge of the probe removed the phrase from her exoneration statement, according to WikiLeaks.

In a March 2016 email from former Bill Clinton Chief of Staff Tina Flournoy to Clinton campaign chairman Podesta's Gmail account, Flournoy included links to two articles concerning the FBI email investigation; one from the Washington Post (http://archive.is/dRc4y)which minimized Clinton's actions, and a legal analysis from retired D.C. attorney Paul Mirengoff in which he suggests Clinton was "grossly negligent or worse" and may be in serious hot water. (h/t Mike (https://twitter.com/Fuctupmind))

Perhaps Podesta decided to run this past Hillary Clinton's friends at the FBI, as counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok - who headed up the Clinton email investigation - then removed the phrase "gross negligence" from Clinton's exoneration statement.

One wonders if the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has reviewed this tidbit of information as part of their upcoming report about to be submitted to the Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Congressional investigators - which in all likelihood, assuming their findings are in alignment with recent bombshells, will be the basis for the appointment for a second special counsel (https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-01-07/upcoming-oig-report-likely-trigger-second-special-counsel-comey-lynch-and-clinton) and much, much more.

If there were any real bad asses they would probably go to jail but there are not. I wish Trump was what all his followers say he is but I think he is the same as the rest.

All of Hillary Clinton’s emails were saved and she knew it, according to an email released (https://foia.state.gov/Search/results.aspx?searchText=*&beginDate=&endDate=&publishedBeginDate=&publishedEndDate=&caseNumber=) by the State Department on Friday.
In an email chain from 2012 between Clinton, Huma Abedin, Monica Hanley and Justin Cooper, Hillary complained she was having trouble with a Blackberry device.
http://www.theamericanmirror.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/HillaryBlackberryEmail-768x433.png
“It comes back to life once I plug in the charger,” the one-time “most qualified presidential candidate in the history of the world” wrote to her aides on the evening of January 30.
“Should I try a new battery or get a new one,” she wrote, apparently referring to a new device.

“And, have we figured out to save all my info?” she ended.

“All of your info is on the sever (sic) which you can access on any web enabled,” Cooper responded. “The berries have a capacity — which may be part of why yours isn’t working.”
“Thanks for your help,” Hillary wrote back.
