Add another to the long list....

Dr. Dean Lorich, an orthopedic surgeon who volunteered in Haiti and exposed Clinton Foundation corruption and malpractice on the island, has been found dead in New York. He was 54.

Dr. Lorich was found by his 11-year-old daughter on the bathroom floor of his tony Upper East Side apartment with a knife in his chest at around 1pm on Monday.

The knife missed the surgeon’s heart, leaving him to bleed out and be found by his daughter. Despite the fact police were called to the property regarding an “assault“, they instantly registered the death as “suicide” and closed the case.

One of the United States’ leading surgeons, Dr. Lorich was part of the relief effort sent by the U.S. to assist the relief effort led by the Clinton Foundation in Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake. However Dr. Lorich was disgusted by the “shameful” Clinton Foundation operation, and voiced his concerns to Hillary Clinton directly.

Unsatisfied with her response, he went public, writing an article published by CNN, accusing the Clinton Foundation of widespread corruption and malpractice in Haiti that cost the lives of thousands of children.

Prominent surgeon lost hospital privileges days before apparent suicide

A prominent Manhattan surgeon – best known for treating Bono – had been stripped of his privileges to practice at New York-Presbyterian Hospital just days before his apparent suicide, a law enforcement source told The Post.

Dr. Dean Lorich was told Friday he would be persona non grata at the landmark Upper East Hospital – and he was found dead inside his Manhattan apartment on Sunday with a self-inflicted stab wound, according to a source.

As of late Monday night, Lorich was still listed on staff on the hospital’s website.

It’s believed Lorich backed the wrong horse in a political battle within the hospital, leading to his ouster, the source said.

A hospital spokeswoman declined comment Monday night on the doctor’s status at New York-Presbyterian.

She would only refer to a hospital statement made Sunday night, confirming Lorich’s death: “We mourn this tragic development and extend our deepest sympathies to Dr. Lorich’s family, friends and patients.”

Lorich is best known for performing surgery on Bono after the U2 frontman lost control of his bike in Central Park, suffering multiple fractures in 2014.

Maybe it was an NFL player?

New York surgeon discovered dead at home was sued by NFL player for 'ending his career'

A New York surgeon who was found dead in his apartment Sunday was sued last year by a former New York Giants running back who accused the doctor of ending his NFL career.

Dr. Dean Lorich, 54, who was discovered dead by his 11-year-old daughter in his Manhattan apartment, gained notoriety for performing surgery on U2 frontman Bono, the New York Post reported.

Last year, Michael Cox sued the surgeon for allegedly botching a surgery performed in 2014. Cox broke his leg during a game on Nov. 9, 2014 and underwent surgery for his fibula. Cox alleged Lorich did not fix his damaged ankle bones, his lawyer, Steven North, told the New York Post.

“We maintain that it should have been repaired before it got worse, and it wasn’t,” North said.

“Michael went on to see Lorich for a few post-operative visits, and the condition continued to deteriorate. Apparently it wasn’t recognized and nothing was done about it,” he continued.

The football player had a four-year, $2.3 million contract with the team. North said Cox would unlikely be able to play the game again.

“He went to [other] doctors, they noted a major difference in the deterioration of that bone, tried to salvage it (and) could not,” North said. “And he’s precluded in all likelihood from playing football again.”

Cox filed the suit against Lorich, the New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Hospital for Special Surgery.

Lorich was discovered with a knife in his chest and police sources said the death appeared to be a suicide.

Ya I just hate how the fake news glosses over the fact that he went after Hillary and maybe that is why he is dead in order to talk about football players and made up stories about his career.

A surgeon who tries to stab himself in the heart to commit suicide but cannot find the heart .This sounds like Meriwether Lewis an expert marksman that had to shoot himself and reload and shoot himself a few more times to commit " suicide " .

He is critical of the chaos on the ground but I don't see him criticizing Clinton. He actually thanks her for information helping him to get to Haiti in the first place. After that he criticizes a lack of resources- which under the circumstances would not be surprising- massive destruction in what was already one of the poorest countries on the planet. He also criticized the military. Clinton was not in charge of the military.

The entire mention of Clinton:

Disaster management on the ground was nonexistent. The difficulties in getting
in despite the intelligence we had from people on the ground and david helfet's
high political connections with Partner's in Health as well as the Clintons only
portended the difficulties we would have once we arrived.

His complaints:

The issues we were unprepared for and witnessed were
1. The amount of human devastation
2. The complete lack of a medical infrastructure in the country

UNCLASSIFIED U.S. Department of State Case No. F-2014-20439 Doc No. C05769503 Date: 08/31/2015

3. The lack of support of the haitian medical community
4. The complete lack of any organization on the ground. Noone was in charge,
we had the first functional up and running hospital in the P OP area yet noone and
I me NOONE came to the hospital to assess what we were doing, what we were
capable of doing and what we would need, to be more efficient. The fact that the
military could not or would not protect the resupply equipment on sunday or let
the tues flight come in says it all.
5. Lack of any security at all at the hospital

I would take away that disasters like this need organization on a much higher
level than we had with the clear involvement and approval of the military from
the beginning.

None of that is about Clinton.
