I think they said the widget was stuck so I think they have raised more than that...

:( I thought this was a pretty good idea. I'd love to see the campaign just do this. 50k is drop in the bucket for what they will be getting on Sunday and it could easily bring in 50k more of donations and/or media exposure.

Another widget recently (the Shotgun News ad in that other magazine I think) was stuck recently too.

Damn this is a good Idea - RonPaulMoneyBall is going to go viral after the 16th - maybe we can rally around that and another site for the new year.

The Shotgun Widget is stuck (actually went back in time), and the Hightimes Widget is getting stuck sometimes.

There wasn't enough time for such a large amount of money. Plus the 16th is kind of interrupting everything.

I thought the idea was a terrific one. Biggest problem is given the time to get it going the timing on trying to raise the cash and the fact that IMO The New Years Eve date would be much better I hope they continue to try to make this happen, we could reach alot of people on Dec 31st and everyone could see the effects of the R3volution.

Lousy idea - waste of $50K. No story in this for the papers to cover. Big deal about ANOTHER ad in Times Square - there are already thousands of them. Spend the $50,000K in a mailing to Iowa or New Hampshire.

New Years even would be FLIPPIN AWESOME! In addition to 1 million+ people in times square, there are many times that number watching the coverage, and the cameras will be showing the street from every angle...

That is like getting TONS of RP commercials for free! Trevor, you are the genius on these things. Hook us up! :)
