That does not mean Schumer or all liberal supporters of his Israel policy have a direct line with liberal wing of media and would ask them to spike such anti-Trump stories to express gratitude for Trump's Jerusalem/Embassy decision, part of it could be natural shifting of media owners' employees' focus to other issues as a result of this decision at least in near future.
It could be just coincidence, but in non-scientific observation, media headlines about 'Flynn/Kushner scandal' have dropped by 80-90% in last couple of days and media attacks on Muellers's credibility sharply spiked after leaks about Israel embassy decision started coming out.
