Drumstick and Wishbone, the two turkeys set to be pardoned by President Trump tomorrow, have arrived in Washington DC. They spent Sunday night in a hotel.

Only one of them will get the official presidential pardon — and you can vote on that here https://twitter.com/WhiteHouse/status/932648144348868610 — but after the Tuesday ceremony, both of them will be sent to live at Gobblers Rest at Virginia Tech.

Consuming turkey is not a sentence - its part of the cycle of life. No president will ever change this fact.

With that said, having seen how some turkeys must live their lives, I dont really see Thanks Giving as such a bad thing for turkeys.

...just another circus as far as I'm concerned. "Turkeys trying to save turkeys"...

I read an article earlier that said it was a pretty swanky hotel, too. I bet they shit all over the place.

They don't seriously room these birds... Its gotta be just long enough for the photograph... right? In any other universe I'd be ridiculed for allowing otherwise, but I just don't know how to call this one.
