The 5th of November event had 18,000 commitments and generated $4.2-4.38 million.

Applying that same commitments-to-dollars ratio, 30,000 commitments would equal $7-7.3 million for the TeaParty event. It will take 33,000 commitments at that ratio to crack $8 million... which is what I've predicted for the day.

That's another 4,200 commitments in 128 hrs... or 32 new commitments every hour between now and midnight Monday morning. Here's hoping that the Des Moines debate is a great night for The Doctor! :D

guys ... i'm getting so damn excited about Dec 16th. I had a meeting of 25 hardcore ron paul supporters last night. I polled them to see how many had pledged on teaparty07.com. And only 5 said yes. The good news is that of the 20 that said no, 15 of them said they plan on donating!

I know this is only a small sample, but lets at least consider the possiblity that our multiple from Nov 5 of 2X the pledges to a 3X on Dec 16th. Why? Well so many more people have heard about this money bomb. The media has been all over this so many will donate with out ever finding the Teaparty website.

So you're telling me that there are 5 "hard-core" Ron Paul supporters that aren't donating on the 16th? We're screwed!

Teaparty vs Nov 5th
Other variables to consider...

We had a lot more time to save our money (or have yard sales, ebay, etc...)
A lot more people aren't subscribing to the pledge list this time
More people will be inspired to give to make history (now that we know we can do it)
We will have a LOT more publicity this time, and will bring in donations on the fly from new folks
Grassroots has really picked up in recent weeks. We will get donations from new people there too.
People are even more apt to donate more than only $100.00

I still think we can break 10 million or more...

Do you want to see those subscriptions and donations SKYROCKET by the thousands? Follow the easy steps listed here: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=50432&page=2

1. Create a new Facebook account and use some RP photo for your picture (takes about 1 minute)

2. Join the Ron Paul Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2229718737

3. Add the Tea Party to your events: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=9455225866

4. Go to the members of Ron Paul's Facebook Group and friend as many as you can until Facebook tells you to "slow down." You can friend over 1,000 and then come back in 24 hours and do it again.

5. Check back later and invite every one of your new friends to the Tea Party event from the link I gave above.

I believe the pledged to contributor ratio will be better for teaParty as well.

I pledged to Nov 5 and haven't for TeaParty. I know a lot of people in the same boat, and I know some people who did not give on Nov 5 at all, and will not sign up for TeaParty but are giving.

That being said, there has been more lead up time for this and more chance of people signing up who have no intention of donating. Hopefully that is rare, and I expect that it is rare.

I'm guessing about 40,000 pledges for $10 million.

The sky is the limit on this thing. I don't think $20 million is outside the realm of possibility.

I gave $200 on 11/5, planning $1,500 this time.

I think I've got over 15 donors for the Tea Party. Only 2 of them donated on the 5th. None of them are subscribed to the site.

We should get everybody possible subscribed. It will get more excitement if people see the huge number of people signed up.

Nothing is out of the realm of possibility. Teaparty07 has had 210,000 visitors! Thats incredible. I guarantee there are thousands, possibly (probably) tens of thousands who have visited the site and DO plan on donating but didn't bother to pledge. There will be tons of buzz on December 16th in offices and homes around the country when the ticker is going through the roof...this will generate even more excitement and motivate skeptics & fence sitters to donate.

Ron Paul's name recognition has grown more in the past month than during the rest of the campaign. There's really no telling just how many new donors RP will have on the 16th, but I assure you it will be one hell of a lot.

On top of that, many like Pete are donating more than $100 and many others are going all-in. If we want to raise $10, $20, $30 million it lies in the hands of the donors. If people really sacrifice and go all in (whatever that may be for thier financial situtaion) then the sky is truly the limit.

Everything that we did last time, the myspace spam, facebook spam, craigslist spam, all of it - we have to do the same this time.
