The Liberty Movement is based on the most Revolutionary of Ideals: Free Will, Natural Rights & the Sovereignty of the Individual. These are fantastic sounding in theory but people associate most of what we fight for with unrealistic unworkable solutions in the real world, drug legalization and gay marriage. A major question we have is how do we get from Point A (The current Globalist Oligarchy) to Point B (Societies & Nations that respect the Rights of the Individual) and at the same time express our views concisely and positively to our fellow man.

In pursuit of this goal, I have outlined 5 Principled Reforms that if implemented, in any State, would free it's people from the Globalist Machine & guarantee the victory of the Liberty Movement & Mankind.

All Movements need Common Ground. All Movements need a short list of principles that the masses can understand. Let's use this as a discussion to develop ours. Let's make this a productive conversation. If anyone is good at Digital Media, I would love to turn (something like) this into a slick promotional piece that can be shared on Social Media and at events and rallies.

5 Reforms to Free Society

1. End the Wall Street Money Monopoly: Legalize Competing Currencies & allow Free Men & Women to Trade and Save their hard earned money in any currency & commodity of their CHOICE.

2. End Corporate Privilege & Personhood: Corporations are NOT people. Make the Owners of Corporations LIABLE for the conduct of their Business. Level the playing field between Wall Street & Main Street. Do NOT allow corporations to violate the Live, Liberty & Property of We the People.

3. Bring Back the Homestead Act: The Poor and Working class have as much Right to this Earth as anyone else. Anyone who does not currently own land has a Right to claim, and improve, unused land and use the gifts of mother nature to help themselves and their families THRIVE.

4. Inform Jurors of their Right to Protect the Innocent: Too many innocent, non-violent people are put into jails and prisons for frivolous unconstitutional crimes that violate the Rights of no one and only help to further destroy our communities. The JURY, made up of twelve citizens, must be informed of their Right to VETO laws that violate the Constitution of the United States and the liberty of the people. Jurors can FREE individuals who violate unjust, unconstitutional laws and they need to know this in both State & Federal Court.

5. Govern by Consent: The Declaration of Independence makes the following points clear - All Men are Created Equal. All Men have Natural, Inalienable Rights. Governments are created to PROTECT Natural Rights. When government VIOLATE Natural Rights, the people have a Right to Change or Abolish that Government. All people, everywhere and always, have a Right to Declare Independence and choose new guards for their safety and security.

My (Personal) Vision for this Platform would be to use it to re-infiltrate and take back the Democratic Party of Jefferson in Red States (where the Democrats are on life support) and to challenge the Social-Engineering Socialists in Blue States from the Party of Lincoln. I believe that a quality grassroots candidate from either party could use the above principles and win. What say you?

Yea but it is about how can we get said liberty candidate elected? I believe tptb might take out someone that was winning. The game is still rigged...

We will see what happens. Good to see you Gumba!:)

It’s good to see you too!

I think the best way to get a liberty candidate elected on this 5 Point Plan would be to first participate in local primary elections for both State and Federal Offices, go to rallies for the establishment (and other establishment leaning candidates) in the race and pass out a slick “info graphic” with these 5 Principled Reforms (taylored to the base of each party) with a simple question at the bottom:

Party of Lincoln: Does Your Candidate Support God-Given Rights & The Constitution?

Party of Jefferson: Does Your Candidate Support Human Rights & Equality?

Spread these ideas among the politically active voters and watch the empty suits we call “politicians” bend their knee to the political will of the masses.

Now, if only I knew someone who could make a slick info graphic...

I believe in the homestead part. If we are going to end welfare and other entitlements, we have to make a way for poor people to own land.

Agreed, I believe that Homesteading is our Ace-in-the-Hole BUT, I also believe, the only way the public would digest such a change is in stages that benefit the Common Man and not the Elites.

1. Allow all American Citizens who are NOT currently landowners or who are currently paying a mortgage (and agree to walk away from their current property) to claim MAX 10 acre lots on State and Federal Land as long as they IMPROVE the land for at least 5 years. (Improvement is determined in court by a jury.)

2. Push for the abolition of property taxes on any homestead (must be the owners primary residence and Max 10 Acres).

3. Allow American sole proprietors & partnerships (not limited-liability corporations) to claim unused land as long as they are US citizens and IMPROVE the land, not destroy it. (Subject to a class-action lawsuit and jury trial.)

4. Finally, allow American Citizens & Businessmen to claim unused private land that has not been improved by the owner. (Improvement is determined in court by a jury.)

Any successful land reform MUST start Populous and help Working Class American Citizens & Small Businesses FIRST. Otherwise, the Corporate Interests & Fiat Empire will maintain their dominance as the Socialists (Party Establishments) cry bloody murder and blame wealth inequality on "Cold Hearted Ayn Rand Libertarians".

I started a thread a while back with an idea toward closing down housing projects. Nobody offered a single idea. I think a homesteading variation would really work in warm climates and I think cities would see they don't need to regulate every. single. little. thing. It makes sense, since electric and water/sewer connections are already in place.

How many people would be willing and able to homestead? Give up their city conveniences? Two thirds of the population has chosen to live in an urban area.

Most have "chosen" urban areas in their quest to collect Monopoly Funny Money and live the "American Dream". The rest were born into ghettos and collect Funny Money checks and vote for bigger checks. When the Fiat Empire comes crumbling down, some will learn to homestead (if they have the chance) and the rest will perish.

Regardless, homesteading is a Natural Born Right of Mankind and Liberty Lovers would do well to explain the concept to the masses. They are starving for something new.

Considering this is what Americans are spending their money on:

I say Homesteading is a great place to start.

Homesteading is not always rural. Back in the late 70s Baltimore had an urban homesteading program where people bought row units for a dollar. They had to have them up to living standard in six months and be living in them in a year. I think an urban homestead would work well for modular housing or any other kind of small house on eighth shares. Our housing projects here are all one story or townhouse style, so selling those units or tearing them down and opening the lots for homesteading could be done with very little investment. Electric, water, and sewer are already there. Corner lots could be for retail or food outlets. They are already near bus lines or within walking distance to businesses.
