The Hollywood mogul has enlisted a team of attorneys to fight planned articles that are said to be about his personal behavior.

Is The New York Times about to expose damaging information on Harvey Weinstein?
The Weinstein Co. film and television mogul has enlisted an army of attorneys and crisis managers in recent weeks and has unleashed them on The Times over a planned story on his personal behavior, multiple sources familiar with the behind-the-scenes battle tell The Hollywood Reporter.

And the Times isn’t the only media outlet aggressively pursuing a story on Weinstein. NBC News correspondent Ronan Farrow also has been digging into the mogul’s past for approximately a year, and Farrow is now said to be working with The New Yorker magazine on a "lengthy" piece.

In addition to his usual attorney David Boies, Weinstein also has engaged Lisa Bloom, a Woodland Hills, Calif.-based lawyer and television personality specializing in sexual harassment cases (and the daughter of Gloria Allred), as well as Charles Harder, the Beverly Hills-based litigator who represented Hulk Hogan in the invasion of privacy trial that brought down the Gawker website. Other lawyers also are said to be advising the mogul.
Several crisis PR consultants also are involved, according to sources.

Donald Trump has been placed on the witness list for a civil trial involving billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, a lawyer involved in the case has claimed.

The US President has been “identified as an individual who may have information” relating to allegations about Epstein, Jack Scarola told the LawNewz.com website.

He said there is evidence that at least one former employee at Mr Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, was recruited by an associate of Epstein to become involved in alleged sex offences.

The civil trial, due to start later this year, involves allegations of malicious prosecution and defamation filed by Bradley Edwards, a Florida lawyer who previously represented several of Epstein’s alleged victims in separate cases from 2009.

In the affidavit filed in support of case, Mr Edwards claims that Mark Epstein (Jeffrey’s brother) testified that Mr Trump flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane with him, LegalNewz.com reported.

“Epstein’s phone directory from his computer contains 14 phone numbers for Donald Trump, including emergency numbers, car numbers, and numbers to Trump’s security guard and houseman,” the affidavit reportedly claims.

Court records in an earlier civil case against Mr Epstein allege that he molested more than 40 girls between 2002 and 2005 at his Florida mansion.

Apparently, that wasn’t an important enough detail to matter to Weinstein because Polanski makes good films, so the mogul was a key force behind a petition supporting the director’s release after being taken into custody again in Switzerland in 2009.

Then-First Lady Michelle Obama praised movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, now facing accusations of decades of sexual harassment, as a "wonderful human being" and a "good friend" in 2013.

The New York Times reported Thursday on extensive sexual harassment claims made by women against Weinstein, including unwanted contact and inappropriate remarks. According to the report, the Democratic megadonor has reached at least eight settlements with women.

Weinstein has donated nearly $600,000 to Democrats and hosted high-priced fundraisers for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Democrats have been pressured to return the donations and some already have.

On November 8, 2013, Michelle Obama hosted a Careers in Film Symposium and offered warm remarks for Weinstein in her opening.

"I want to start by thanking Harvey Weinstein for organizing this amazing day," she said. "Harvey. This is possible because of Harvey. He is a wonderful human being, a good friend and just a powerhouse. And the fact that he and his team took the time to make this happen for all of you should say something not about me or about this place, but about you."

At a fundraiser hosted by Weinstein in 2013, then-President Obama thanked him for his "friendship and support" and praised him for the "amazing movies" he'd made. Weinstein won an Oscar for producing Shakespeare In Love and has executive-produced several other Best Picture winners.

Of the sexual harassment allegations, Weinstein told the New York Times, "I appreciate the way I’ve behaved with colleagues in the past has caused a lot of pain, and I sincerely apologize for it. Though I’m trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go."

Among the lurid details in the New York Times report was an account by actress Ashley Judd that Weinstein asked her to watch him shower and wanted to give her a massage in his hotel room.

He is taking a leave of absence from his company and has announced in the meantime he has plans to fight the NRA.

Former Obama aide Tommy Vietor tweeted Thursday that Weinstein "has been a well-known scumbag for a long time." However, Weinstein made 13 trips to the White House during the Obama administration, according to Breitbart News, and Obama's oldest daughter Malia did an internship under him this year.

Paltrow is one of dozens of women coming forward to accuse Weinstein of sexual misconduct, telling the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/10/us/gwyneth-paltrow-angelina-jolie-harvey-weinstein.html?_r=0) that the movie mogul made unwanted advances towards her in a hotel room when she was 22. The encounter, which she says occurred after Weinstein hired her for the lead role in Emma, allegedly ended with him placing his hands on her and suggesting a massage.
Pitt, who was dating Paltrow at the time, confronted Weinstein about the incident at a Hollywood party around 1995, a source tells PEOPLE.

“Brad threatened Harvey,” says the source. “He got right in his face, poked him in the chest and said, ‘You will not ever do this to Gwyneth ever again.’ “

The source adds that Pitt “made it clear there would be consequences” if Weinstein tried anything again, and “described it as giving Harvey a ‘Missouri whooping.'” (Pitt grew up in Springfield, Missouri.)

NYPD Says Harvey Weinstein Evidence Was Presented To Manhattan DA
It appears that the first casualty of the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse scandal, may be none other than the Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr.
According to an explosive new article published by the New Yorker on Tuesday (https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/from-aggressive-overtures-to-sexual-assault-harvey-weinsteins-accusers-tell-their-stories), Vance had evidence of Weinstein's sexually predatory behavior toward a woman, but didn’t pursue the case. The story describes how model and former Miss Italy contestant Ambra Battilana Gutierrez accepted a meeting with Weinstein in March 2015. During the meeting, she told New Yorker that Weinstein groped her breasts and put his hands up her skirt.

After the encounter, Gutierrez went to the New York Police Department, which counseled her to wear a wire and meet with Weinstein the next day at his hotel. The New Yorker published the recorded audio of their exchange.
“Oh, please, I’m sorry, just come on in,” Weinstein tells Gutierrez. “I’m used to that. Come on. Please.”
“You’re used to that?” she replies.
“Yes,” Weinstein says. He later adds, “I won’t do it again.”

A police investigation was launched, at which point hit pieces about Gutierrez’s past began to appear in the tabloids, she said. After two weeks, Vance didn’t file any charges.
In a statement issued at the time, the DA’s office said that “this case was taken seriously from the outset, with a thorough investigation conducted by our Sex Crimes Unit. After analyzing the available evidence, including multiple interviews with both parties, a criminal charge is not supported.” Yet a police source close to the investigation told the magazine the NYPD had the evidence. “It’s a case that made me angrier than I thought possible, and I have been on the force a long time,” the source said.
Gutierrez couldn’t comment further since she had signed a nondisclosure agreement with Weinstein, “including an affidavit stating that the acts Weinstein admits to in the recording never happened,” the article says.
As storm clouds grew in ther aftermath of the New Yorker article, Chief Assistant DA Karen Freedman Agnifilo said Tuesday in a statement that “if we could have prosecuted Harvey Weinstein for the conduct that occurred in 2015, we would have.” Agnifilo went on to say that what emerged from the audio was insufficient to prove a crime under New York law because it did not establish criminal intent.
“Subsequent investigative steps undertaken in order to establish intent were not successful,” she said.

In other words, the DA's office - suddenly sweating in the public spotlight - tried to pass responsibility for the botched case to the NYPD who "without our knowledge or input - arranged a controlled call and meeting between the complainant and Mr. Weinstein."
However, the NYPD has no intention of being the DA's patsy, and moments ago the New York Police Department issued a statement regarding the 2015 Weinstein investigation which led nowhere, in which it said that "the case was carried out by experienced detectives and supervisors from NYPD's Special Victims Unit. The detectives used well established investigative techniques" and in doing so sent the ball right back in Vance's court, and with it the onus of explaining just why he failed to prosecute Weinstein when - at least according to the NYPD - he had the case handed to him on a silver platter.



"The case was carried out by experienced detectives and supervisors from NYPD's Special Victims Unit. The detectives used well established investigative techniques. The recorded conversation with the subject corroborates the acts that were the basis for the victim's complaint to the police a day earlier. This follow-up recorded conversation was just one aspect of the case against the subject. This evidence, along with other statements and timeline information was presented to the office of the Manhattan District Attorney."
To this unexpected development, all we can say is that it will be delightfully ironic if the downfall of Weinstein also ends up being the much needed catharsis which also takes down countless corrupt officials responsible for enforcing the law in the city of New York.

This has been an open secret to many in Hollywood and beyond, … Asia Argento, an Italian film actress and director, told me that she did not speak out until now—Weinstein, she told me, forcibly performed oral sex on her—because she feared that Weinstein would “crush” her. “I know he has crushed a lot of people before,” Argento said. “That’s why this story—in my case, it’s twenty years old; some of them are older—has never come out.” …

Last week, the New York Times, in a powerful report (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/05/us/harvey-weinstein-harassment-allegations.html) by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, revealed multiple allegations … The story, however, is more complex, and there is more to know and to understand. In the course of a ten-month investigation, I was told by thirteen women that, between the nineteen-nineties and 2015, Weinstein sexually harassed or assaulted them, allegations that corroborate and overlap with the Times’ revelations, and also include far more serious claims.

Three women—among them Argento and a former aspiring actress named Lucia Evans—told me that Weinstein raped them, allegations that include Weinstein forcibly performing or receiving oral sex and forcing vaginal sex. Four women said that they experienced unwanted touching that could be classified as an assault. In an audio recording captured during a New York Police Department sting operation in 2015 and made public here for the first time, Weinstein admits to groping a Filipina-Italian model named Ambra Battilana Gutierrez, describing it as behavior he is “used to.” Four of the women I interviewed cited encounters in which Weinstein exposed himself or masturbated in front of them.

Sixteen former and current executives and assistants at Weinstein’s companies told me that they witnessed or had knowledge of unwanted sexual advances and touching at events associated with Weinstein’s films and in the workplace. They and others describe a pattern of professional meetings that were little more than thin pretexts for sexual advances on young actresses and models. All sixteen said that the behavior was widely known within both Miramax and the Weinstein Company. Messages sent by Irwin Reiter, a senior company executive, to Emily Nestor, one of the women who alleged that she was harassed at the company, described the “mistreatment of women” as a serial problem that the Weinstein Company was struggling with in recent years. Other employees described what was, in essence, a culture of complicity at Weinstein’s places of business, with numerous people throughout the companies fully aware of his behavior but either abetting it or looking the other way. Some employees said that they were enlisted in subterfuge to make the victims feel safe. A female executive with the company described how Weinstein assistants and others served as a “honeypot”—they would initially join a meeting, but then Weinstein would dismiss them, leaving him alone with the woman.

Virtually all of the people I spoke with told me that they were frightened of retaliation. … Many said that they had seen Weinstein’s associates confront and intimidate those who crossed him, and feared that they would be similarly targeted. Four actresses, including Mira Sorvino and Rosanna Arquette, told me they suspected that, after they rejected Weinstein’s advances or complained about them to company representatives, Weinstein had them removed from projects or dissuaded people from hiring them. Multiple sources said that Weinstein frequently bragged about planting items in media outlets about those who spoke against him; these sources feared that they might be similarly targeted. …

“This wasn’t a one-off. This wasn’t a period of time,” an executive who worked for Weinstein for many years told me. “This was ongoing predatory behavior towards women—whether they consented or not.” …

Lucia Stoller, now Lucia Evans, was approached by Weinstein at Cipriani Upstairs, a club in New York, in 2004, the summer before her senior year at Middlebury College. Evans wanted to be an actress … Weinstein began calling her late at night, or having an assistant call her, asking to meet. She declined, but said that she would do readings during the day … an assistant called to set up a daytime meeting at the Miramax office, in Tribeca, first with Weinstein and then with a casting executive, who was a woman. “I was, like, ‘Oh, a woman, great, I feel safe,’ ” Evans said.
When Evans arrived for the meeting, the building was full of people. She was led to an office with exercise equipment and takeout boxes on the floor, where she met with Weinstein alone. … “he immediately was simultaneously flattering me and demeaning me and making me feel bad about myself.” Weinstein told her that she’d “be great in ‘Project Runway’ ”… but only if she lost weight. … “At that point, after that, is when he assaulted me,” Evans said. “He forced me to perform oral sex on him.” As she objected, Weinstein took his penis out of his pants and pulled her head down onto it. “I said, over and over, ‘I don’t want to do this, stop, don’t,’ ” she said. “I tried to get away, but maybe I didn’t try hard enough. I didn’t want to kick him or fight him.” In the end, she said, “He’s a big guy. He overpowered me.” At a certain point, she said, “I just sort of gave up. That’s the most horrible part of it, and that’s why he’s been able to do this for so long to so many women: people give up, and then they feel like it’s their fault.”
Weinstein appeared to find the encounter unremarkable. “It was like it was just another day for him,” Evans said. “It was no emotion.” Afterward, she said, he acted as if nothing had happened. She wondered how Weinstein’s staff could not know what was going on. …

Evans told me that the entire sequence of events had a routine quality. “It feels like a very streamlined process,” she said. “Female casting director, Harvey wants to meet. Everything was designed to make me feel comfortable before it happened. And then the shame in what happened was also designed to keep me quiet.”

Evans said that, after the incident, “I just put it in a part of my brain and closed the door.” She continued to blame herself for not fighting harder. “It was always my fault for not stopping him,” she said. “I had an eating problem for years. I was disgusted with myself. It’s funny, all these unrelated things I did to hurt myself because of this one thing.” … “I ruined several really good relationships because of this. My schoolwork definitely suffered, and my roommates told me to go to a therapist because they thought I was going to kill myself.” …


Other women were too afraid to allow me to use their names, but their stories are uncannily similar to these allegations. One, a woman who worked with Weinstein, explained her reluctance to be identified. “He drags your name through the mud, and he’ll come after you hard with his legal team.”
Like other women in this article, she said that Weinstein brought her to a hotel room under a professional pretext, changed into a bathrobe, and “forced himself on me sexually.” She said no, repeatedly and clearly. Afterward, she experienced “horror, disbelief, and shame,” and considered going to the police. “I thought it would be a ‘He said, she said,’ and I thought about how impressive his legal team is, and I thought about how much I would lose, and I decided to just move forward,” she said. The woman continued to have professional contact with Weinstein after the alleged rape, and acknowledged that subsequent communications between them might suggest a normal working relationship. “I was in a vulnerable position and I needed my job,” she told me. “It just increases the shame and the guilt.” …

Weinstein and his legal and public-relations teams have conducted a decades-long campaign to suppress these stories. In recent months, that campaign escalated. Weinstein and his associates began calling many of the women in this story. Weinstein asked Argento to meet with a private investigator and give testimony on his behalf. One actress who initially spoke to me on the record later asked that her allegation be removed. “I’m so sorry,” she wrote. “The legal angle is coming at me and I have no recourse.” Weinstein and his legal team have threatened to sue multiple media outlets, including the New York Times. Several of the former executives and assistants in this story said that they had received calls from Weinstein in which he attempted to determine if they had talked to me or warned them not to. …

“He’s been systematically doing this for a very long time,” the former employee who had been made to act as a “honeypot” told me. She said that she often thinks of something Weinstein whispered … after one of his many shouting sprees … It so unnerved her that she pulled out her iPhone and tapped it into a memo, word for word: “There are things I’ve done that nobody knows.”

Harvey Weinstein has reportedly fled the country to find help.

The producer is headed to a sex addiction rehab center in Europe via private jet, TMZ reported Tuesday.

A source, however, told the Daily News that he's not leaving for rehab, but rather counseling.

"He needs his peace. He’s been hounded all week. He lost his company and his wife. What more can you lose?" the source said. "He’s got to go find peace."

The report comes shortly after Weinstein’s wife, fashion designer Georgina Chapman, announced that she’s leaving her husband.

“My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions," Chapman, 41, said in a statement to People. "I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time.”

Over the past week, almost a dozen women, including Ashley Judd, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment.

Weinstein has denied all allegations, but said “all the rules about behavior and workplaces were different” when he “came of age in the ‘60s and ‘70s.”

On Sunday, he was fired from the Weinstein Company.

“In light of new information about misconduct by Harvey Weinstein that has emerged in the past few days, the directors of The Weinstein Company — Robert Weinstein, Lance Maerov, Richard Koenigsberg and Tarak Ben Ammar — have determined, and have informed Harvey Weinstein, that his employment with The Weinstein Company is terminated, effective immediately,” the company said in a statement.

But the producer is reportedly already planning his return to Hollywood.

Harvey Weinstein says Oprah Winfrey called him to say she was ready to come out and publicly support him, but Oprah's people say it's simply not true.

Our sources say Harvey has repeatedly told his team and friends that Oprah called him earlier this week and said he needed to speak out and defend himself, and when he did she would be right there supporting him. We're told Harvey has said a number of powerful people have called to voice support, but he singled out Oprah over and over.

Woody Allen has defended Harvery Weinstein over dozens of allegations of sexual abuse and rape, describing the situation as 'sad'.
The director, who worked with Weinstein a number of times, said he was upset 'for everyone involved' and lamented the fact that Weinstein's life 'is so messed up.'
While he hoped the investigation into alleged abuse would provide some respite to victims, he added that he worries about a witch hunt against men.

He told BBC Arabic: 'The whole Harvey Weinstein thing is very sad for everybody involved.
'Tragic for the poor women that were involved, sad for Harvey that is life is so messed up. There's no winners in that, it's just very, very sad and tragic for those poor women that had to go through that.'

Weinstein was credited with reviving Allen's career after he was accused of abusing Dylan Farrow, the daughter he adopted with then-wife Mia, when she was seven.

Allen collaborated with Weinstein several times including on 1995 film Mighty Aphrodite (pictured at the premiere)

The claims emerged in 1993 after Farrow split with Allen, having discovered he was having an affair with her adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn.
An investigation was launched but later dropped with no charges made against Allen. He has always vehemently denied the claims.
Dylan repeated the claims in a 2014 blog post, and was supported by brother Ronan Farrow who also criticized the media for not questioning Allen more closely.
Ronan was also instrumental in bringing the allegations against Weinstein to light, interviewing 13 women who alleged he had harassed or attacked them.
Allen and Weinstein collaborated several times over the years, including on the Oscar-winning film Mighty Aphrodite.
The star of that film, Mira Sorvino, is just one of the actresses to come forward with claims against Weinstein.
It was during a promotional tour for that film, in 1995, that she alleges Weinstein began massaging her shoulders while they were alone in a hotel room.

Edenbridge (United Kingdom) (AFP) - An effigy of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein will be torched this weekend as part of a British town's Bonfire Night celebrations, organisers revealed on Wednesday.
The 11-metre (36-foot) effigy of a semi-naked Weinstein, showing him clutching an Oscar statuette in one hand and a bra in the other, will go up in flames on Saturday in Edenbridge, south of London.

The statue also has an old-fashioned black-and-white film clapperboard held open by a woman over the producer's genitals with the words "Final Cut" on it.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Model Keri Claussen Khalighi has come forward to accuse Def Jam Records mogul Russell Simmons of sexual misconduct in 1991 when she was 17 years old.
In a report Sunday in the Los Angeles Times, Khalighi says that Simmons coerced her to perform a sex act and later penetrated her without her consent in his New York apartment. She said the film producer and director Brett Ratner, who has also been accused by multiple women of sexual harassment, was present.

Nancy Pelosi's daughter Christine shocked California lawmakers this week by boldly declaring during an address: 'There are rapists in this building.'
Pelosi, 51, delivered the remarks as part of an ongoing campaign to end workplace harassment which she says is rampant in the local government.

She, along with almost 300 women, signed their names to a document calling for an end to it and on Tuesday, Pelosi, the chairwoman of the California Democratic Party's Women's Caucus, used it as ammunition in a hearing before the Assembly Rules Subcommittee on Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation Prevent and Response, in Sacramento.
'We have a whisper network. You all know it. Because what everybody here knows is that we have rapists in this building. We have molesters among us,' she said.

As she gave her blistering remarks on sexual assault, her mother finally called for Rep. John Conyers to resign over his own accusations after days of silence on the matter.

Kennedy, a former MTV VJ, recounted the story in her new book where she claims that the gamble was even more serious than he realized as she says she was a virgin at the time.

After detailing an earlier incident when she was sexually assaulted by an unnamed actor in New York City when she was 16, Thurman recalled a moment with Weinstein in a Paris hotel when he pulled out a bathrobe and led her into a steam room. The incident allegedly occurred after she met Weinstein following the release of Pulp Fiction and they had been arguing about a script.
“I was standing there in my full black leather outfit — boots, pants, jacket. And it was so hot and I said, ‘This is ridiculous, what are you doing?’” Thurman said. “And he was getting very flustered and mad and he jumped up and ran out.”
The first “attack,” she said, came soon after in Weinstein’s Savoy Hotel room in London. “It was such a bat to the head,” the actress said. “He pushed me down. He tried to shove himself on me. He tried to expose himself. He did all kinds of unpleasant things. But he didn’t actually put his back into it and force me. You’re like an animal wriggling away, like a lizard. I was doing anything I could to get the train back on the track. My track. Not his track.”
In the aftermath, Thurman said Weinstein had sent her flowers, and his assistants tried reaching out about future projects. Shen then states she approached him and warned, “If you do what you did to me to other people you will lose your career, your reputation, and your family, I promise you.”
Ilona Herman, a makeup artist for Robert DeNiro and friend of Thurman, told The Times she was present at the hotel at the time of the confrontation. She claims Thurman revealed in the cab ride back that Weinstein threatened to derail her career.

Harvey Weinstein's lawyer said Saturday a woman having sex with a Hollywood producer to advance her career is "not rape", in a British newspaper interview on the eve of the Oscars.

Ben Brafman is one of the top U.S. criminal defense attorneys, hired by the disgraced Hollywood mogul whose career is in tatters following accusations of sexual harassment, assault and rape.

More than 100 women have accused Weinstein of impropriety going back 40 years, but Brafman argued there was no criminal behaviour.

"If a woman decides that she needs to have sex with a Hollywood producer to advance her career and actually does it and finds the whole thing offensive, that's not rape," he told The Times.

"You made a conscious decision that you're willing to do something that is personally offensive in order to advance your career," he added.

Weinstein, a twice-married father of five, is being investigated by British and U.S. police, but has not been charged with any crime. He denies having non-consensual sex and is reportedly in treatment for sex addiction.

Dozens of Hollywood women, including Ashley Judd, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Beckinsale and Salma Hayek, are among Weinstein's accusers.

The bombshell exposes last year have led the film industry to declare war on sexual misconduct, with the campaign dominating the 2018 awards circuit.

Brafman told The Times his client's behaviour was reflective of the broader culture in the industry: "The casting couch in Hollywood was not invented by Harvey Weinstein."

While Weinstein will not be welcome at Sunday's Oscars ceremony, his infamous casting couch has been created by artists to mark the occasion.

Plastic Jesus and Joshua Monroe created a gold sculpture of Weinstein on the couch, wearing a dressing gown and clutching an Academy Award.

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein bragged about sleeping with Jennifer Lawrence to a woman that he allegedly sexually abused for years, according to the woman’s new lawsuit.
In the suit filed anonymously by a Jane Doe in L.A. county the woman claims that Weinstein performed oral sex on her against her will and as she was sobbing he told her, “I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar,” TMZ reported. Jerry George, 63, was found dead around 2 a.m. only a few blocks from home.
“The police told me that he hit his head,” said John Toia, George’s husband of 11 years.
Toia said the coroner had not yet established a definitive cause of death, but George’s wallet and cellphone were still with him when he was discovered by police, who responded to a 911 call about a man down on a street.
“They knocked on my door around 4 a.m. and said Jerry was dead,” said Toia.

Jessica Mann says Weinstein is "intersex"

After enduring years of his *alleged* predatory behavior, harassment, and assault, Harvey Weinstein’s victims are finally getting their day in court. The disgraced movie producer is currently on trial in New York for sex crimes, facing a potential lifetime prison sentence if found guilty.

Over the course of the trial, which began earlier this month, several of Weinstein’s alleged victims have taken the stand and shared details of their alleged assaults. On Friday it was Jessica Mann’s turn, and she shockingly claimed Weinstein to be “intersex” with no testicles, according to Vulture. (Warning: The following paragraphs describe sexual assault.)
The one-time aspiring actress said she first met Weinstein during a party in early 2013. At a subsequent meeting at a hotel bar, he invited her for dinner in his hotel room. It was at this point that Weinstein first propositioned Mann by taking off his shirt, handing her a bottle of lotion, and asking for a massage.

Following another party, Weinstein again invited Mann back to his hotel room, this time with her friend in tow. Once inside, Mann says Weinstein grabbed her arm and led her inside his bedroom, telling her friend, “‘We’ll just be a minute.’” Weinstein then performed oral sex on Mann: “I started to fake an orgasm to get out of it,” she said. “He asked me how it was, if I liked it. And uhm, I was nervous, so I told him, ‘Oh, it was the best I ever had.’”

Despite the negative encounter, Mann “made the decision to be in a relationship” with Weinstein, fearing what might happen if she cut it off. “I thought he was gonna hurt my father,” she remarked, explaining, “he said to me that he has guys with bats …”

Mann detailed another alleged assualt that occurred in Weinstein’s hotel room in New York City. “He stood over me until I was completely naked, and then he told me to lay on the bed, and once he was naked and laying on the bed, he walked into the bathroom and sort of closed the door behind him,” she recounted. “And then he came out naked and he was … he got on top of me, and that’s when he put himself inside of me, his penis inside of me.”

Mann said she later found a needle in Weinstein’s bathroom. “I do not remember the medical term, but when I Googled it, it basically implied dead-penis-type thing,” she said. “It was the realization that he stabbed himself with a needle, and there has to be blood because he was inside of me … I was in shock over that.”

In an effort to add credence to her claims, Mann shared several intimate details about Weinstein. “He does not have testicles, and it appears that he has a vagina,” she claimed. “He also peed on me once,” she added.

Mann also said Weinstein “smelled like shit — excuse me, sorry, like poop. He just was dirty.” His stench wasn’t the only thing foul about Weinstein, however; “He would talk very dirty to me about fantasies and things, and compare me to the other things actresses that he said were doing kinky, dirty things with him,” Mann testified. “He always wanted to film me. I never gave him permission.”

According to Vulture, as Mann spoke about his deformed genitals, Weinstein “dropped his head.”

Mann is due back in court next week for further testimony. The trial itself is expected to run into early March.
