Political commentator Scottie Nell Hughes sued Fox News on Monday, claiming she was raped by anchor Charles Payne and then blacklisted by the network after she came forward, The New York Times reported (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/18/business/media/fox-news-lawsuit-charles-payne.html?smid=tw-share).
Hughes, a contributor to Fox News and CNN, alleged in her lawsuit that Payne, the host of "Making Money" on Fox Business, had "pressured" his way into her hotel room in July 2013 and coerced her into having sexual intercourse, despite her protestations.
Over the next two years, Hughes claimed, she was forced to engage in a sexual relationship with Payne in exchange for career opportunities, such as increased appearances on Fox channels and the promise that Payne would help get her a valuable contributor contract. Hughes never became a paid Fox contributor.
Hughes claimed in the lawsuit that after she ended the relationship with Payne, the network blacklisted her and leaked a story to the National Enquirer that suggested Hughes was a "participant in an affair with Payne." According to the lawsuit, Hughes said booking agents told her the reason for her decline in TV appearances was that "she had an affair with someone at Fox," The Times reported.

She's married with two kids and was trading sex for stardom so far as I can tell. That's adultry.

It appears she's crying rape because her John didn't keep his end of the bargain.

Ya, if they legalized prostitution then she could have had a contract written up and this sort of stuff wouldn't happen so much.

There is a name for people who trade sex for money or things of material value.

She blackballed herself.

In July 2017, Payne was suspended by Fox Business pending an investigation after a former network guest, Scottie Nell Hughes, accused him of sexual harassment. Payne denied the harassment charge, but acknowledged having had a three-year-long "romantic relationship" with Hughes before the accusation was made. Hughes, who kept an apartment near Fox's Manhattan headquarters for the duration of the affair, claimed she believed it would help her obtain a permanent position at the network.[11] Her appearances were drastically reduced after she ended the affair in 2015 and reported Payne to Fox.[12] On September 8, 2017, Payne was released from his suspension.[13]

So apparently he had recently returned after these claims were investigated by Fox. "Rape"? Doesn't seem that way.

She blackballed herself.

Some might see it as controversial.
