On December 16, 1773, American colonists staged the Boston Tea Party. At this event, they protested British acts of taxation and tyranny by destroying crates of tea bricks on ships in the Boston Harbor. This incident has been recorded in history books as helping spark the American Revolution.
On December 16, 2007, the 234th anniversary of the original Boston Tea Party, tens of thousands of patriotic American citizens nationwide will stage Tea Party ’07, which will spark a second, peaceful and non-violent, American revolution against corrupt government policies, abridgements of the Bill of Rights, and unconstitutional acts by our government against the will of the people.
During Tea Party ’07, instead of dumping tea into the water, tens of thousands of Americans are planning to dump money into the campaign coffers of Ron Paul for President. This will be the shot heard around the world showing that Ron Paul is the front-runner in the 2008 presidential campaign, and that Ron Paul can no longer be marginalized by the mainstream media.
Ron Paul’s supporters previously broke all past GOP records for one-day campaign fundraising when they raised more than $4.2 MILLION in ONE DAY online on November 5, 2007. This resulted in enormous media coverage around the world.
On December 16, 2007, we expect to easily break our own record, and surpass it handily. We already have at least 50% more pledges for the December 16 Tea Party than we did for the November 5th fundraiser. And we expect the average donations to likely be higher than November 5, 2007. It is entirely possibly that we will raise more than six, eight, or even ten million dollars on December 16. But we need your help.
