Imagine that.

Nearly a year after gaining 3 million more votes than Donald Trump but still losing the election, Hillary Clinton says it’s time to get rid of the Electoral College and award the presidency based simply on who gets the most votes.

In an interview that aired Wednesday night on CNN, Mrs. Clinton — who is traveling across the country promoting her new book, “What Happened,” and will appear in Washington on Monday evening — continued to partly blame others for her election defeat, though she’s also accepted responsibility for a failure to connect with voters.

Of course she does. Truth be told, she'd prefer no elections at all, or fake ones, like the DNC Primary.

Close the city and tell the people that somethings coming to call
Death and darkness are rushing forward to take a bite from the wall, oh

You've nothing to say
They're breaking away

No Hillary, this is a constitutional republic.

Our right to vote for people, who vote for people, who in turn, vote for the people who will be voting for President, is a constitutionally protected basic human right.

And is probably the reason we even have a constitution, to protect that right.

The 2016 election is the EXACT reason the Electoral College works...to keep a tyrant out of the White House based on mob rule.

That Sir, would probably save a lot of lives, especially if the abolition had taken place twenty years ago.

Let's also not forget the biggest reason the 2016 was a landmark. It is because public office is supposed to be for a cause and not a career. It already inspired a lot of new kinds of people the run for office and more along the lines of the right people. Of course it is a big loss for Hillary:D

I like that to win the presidency, you have to have broad support across the entire United States. It's important to set us apart from a pure democracy.

Get rid of the EC and America becomes just another Russia or China, and starts us down the path into a Venezuela, Korea or Cuba.

If you can't beat them change the rules.

I am so over hearing people say Hillary "really won" the election because of the popular majority. No one would deny that her highest priority was 270 delegates. If the popular vote was the goal, Trump would have campaigned differently. If she had won 270 delegates and Trump had won the popular vote, would leftists be declaring her victory "illegitimate?" Trump may be correct in having stated that, if the popular vote was the rule, he actually would have beaten Hillary even worse.
